Role: Project Management Intern - CEO Office
*NOTE* Timeline for this internship is September 30 to February 28
As a Project Management Intern - CEO Office you will join the CEO Office of SumUp where you’ll interact and help execute the strategic projects at the heart of SumUp’s vision. You will gain an unparalleled understanding of our financial technology products and main trends in the industry, as well as how to adapt geographically specific products in other regions where we are active. You will partner with go-to-market, product and engineering leaders across our global organization to quickly deliver minimum viable products to be marketed to our merchants, assess market reception and product fitness, and iterate to increase adoption within our base.
What you’ll do- Conduct internal research to understand the best way to help our teams automate tasks and succeed.
- Be the connection between CEO and internal R&D and GTM teams in the identified regions
- Oversee all aspects of development of the projects, from idea and business case formulation to development to go-to-market approach
- Liaise with global stakeholders to oversee integration of your products within our global organization.
- You have a track record of being a high achiever in different areas, demonstrated by an excellent academic record and practical experience in fast-paced environments.
- You have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, experience with SQL, Python and Tableau is a plus.
- You are comfortable using AI-assisted coding to deliver good quality products on your own.
- Have a record of having started initiatives, whether businesses or university societies, or having organized events or parties, it doesn’t matter, it matters if you’ve demonstrated that you can be proactive.
- You’re comfortable with ambiguity and unprecedented challenges.
- You’re fluent in English, and are a strong and efficient communicator
