- As a Project Cost Administrator, you’ll keep the detail behind project costs accurate, current, and accounted for. Delivery dockets, purchase orders, cost codes, labor and plant records, supporting documentation, and Workbench will all sit firmly in your wheelhouse.
- You’ll remotely support an Australian client, helping Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors trust the information they use to manage their projects.
- Because when it comes to project costs, close enough isn’t close enough.
- Process supplier delivery dockets within the required 24–48-hour timeframe.
- Match delivery dockets and supporting documentation to purchase orders.
- Apply the correct project and cost codes with a 99%+ accuracy target.
- Enter and maintain project cost information in Workbench.
- Maintain accurate and current project cost records.
- Process timesheets, labor records, and plant records.
- Identify duplicate entries, discrepancies, and missing information.
- Maintain an outstanding docket register.
- Follow up with site teams and suppliers for missing documentation.
- Ensure supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and accessible.
- Support Project Managers, Engineers, and Site Supervisors with supplier, labor, and plant records.
- Minimize rework by maintaining accurate and complete cost administration records.
Requirements
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
- 2+ years of relevant experience in project administration, cost administration, accounts administration, construction administration, or a related role.
- Advanced Workbench skills.
- Experience processing project costs, delivery dockets, purchase orders, timesheets, or related records.
- Strong understanding of project and cost coding.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and record management.
- Ability to identify duplicates, discrepancies, and missing documentation.
- Strong follow-up and communication skills when coordinating with site teams and suppliers.
- Ability to meet processing deadlines and maintain accurate records.
- Reliable internet connection.
- Ability to work remotely and independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience in Australian construction, civil construction, engineering, infrastructure, or another project-based environment.
- Experience supporting Project Managers, Engineers, or Site Supervisors.
- Experience managing plants, labor, supplier, and project cost records.
