Position Description: The Project Coordinator role requires an individual with the ability to support program managers across multiple pr ograms to ensure customer expectations and contractual requirements are met . This role will support leadership on all relevant aspects of program and project level scope, schedule, resources, and project level financial performance.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Support managers in daily contract or subcontract execution of multiple programs / projects to ensure pro ject costs, schedule , and technical performance goals are met while meeting customer expectations and contractual requirements .
  • Maintain effective communication with subcontractors to ensure the performance , cost, and schedule of the subcontract is being met.
  • Work with program managers and Technical L eads to assign tasks to internal teams and assist with overall schedule management.
  • Provide concise reports to program managers and leadership team on project status, potential issues, risks, and recommended courses of action.
  • May assist in reporting contract or subcontract deliverables accurately and timely , using a variety of prime contractor systems and/or Government systems that may require additional training or education.
  • Help generate project financial reports along with project forecasts.
  • Provide timely and accurate projections of engineering resource requirements, to include pro ject technical staffing needs.
  • S upport capturing opportunities, including bid and proposal development, pricing, and developing statements of work with operational insight provided by the program managers.
  • Support change in a growing organization, seek out and document best practices and incorporate lessons learned into future project/programs.
  • O ther duties as assigned.

What We Require :
  • Bachelor ' s degree and m inimum 2 + years of Program/Project Coordination experience with demonstrated ability to develop strong internal and external customer relationships, prioritize efforts and achieve results.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance issued by the US Government. Security clearances may only be granted to US citizens .
  • Ability to travel as needed to our DoD customers and other stakeholder facilities .
  • E xcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate (verbally and in writing) to our DoD customer s , prime contractors, and other stakeholders .
  • High level of proficiency in MS Project and MS Office particularly Excel and Power P oint.
  • K nowledge of program & project management processes, tools and procedures including ability to quickly learn and adapt to company's ERP system (Unanet) in reporting, analyzing, and managing project spend vs. budgets, and schedule performance.
  • L eadership and management skills, particularly influence management and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills .
  • Experience throughout the pro ject life cycle from development through sustainment to include proposal development, requirements decomposition, generation of system and subsystem statements of work and subcontracts, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts including implementation for cost reduction and performance improvement efforts .
  • Experience with metrics for assessing and reporting pro ject progress, productivity , and variance analysis.
  • Excellent collaboration and working across organization skills to achieve top performance results .
  • Self-starter and a problem solver; must have the ability to see the big picture and implement changes as required .
  • Demonstrated success in managing staff planning, project reviews, scheduling , and budget control.
  • Successful track record in managing complex defense projects or programs as a prime or subcontractor.

What We Value :
  • B.S . or M.S. Degree in a Technical Field (preferred Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline ) .
  • Experience working with or within a branch of the Department of Defense (Air Force, Space Force , Navy, etc.) as a Program/Project Coordinator.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP ® ) or comparable certification
  • Knowledgeable in FAR/DFAR/ITAR requirements.

Minimum Physical Requirements:
  • Must possess exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences .
  • Ability to multitask across multiple programs, manage competing priorities, and maintain high focus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to frequently move about a standard office environment to facilitate team collaboration and engage with stakeholders.
  • Ability to navigate a standard office setting, including prolonged periods at a desk and frequent use of computers, screens, and digital communication tools.
  • Close visual acuity required for extensive reading, viewing computer terminals, transcribing, and analyzing data or figures.
  • Fine motor skills and dexterity to grasp, handle, and manipulate standard office equipment and small devices (e.g., laptops, cellphones, USB drives, and documents).
  • Ability to occasionally lift, move, and set up office and personal technical equipment (e.g., laptops, monitors, and peripherals) weighing up to 20 lbs.
