Location: U.S. remote. Candidates may live anywhere in the United States, but must be able and willing to work within Eastern, Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones.

Salary: $50,000-$55,000, dependent on experience

The Impact You’ll Make
  • Assist Project Managers with ensuring all team members are informed of pending tasks, deadlines, and next steps within the project scope of work.
  • Provide scheduling support to the project manager, user experience (UX), marketing, design, and development teams through all phases of a project’s lifecycle.
  • Work with the project manager to ensure timely and accurate status reporting for client projects.
  • Work with the project manager to maintain and update the project schedule. 
  • Create and manage process and project documentation (for example, client Content Management System training manuals and PMO best practices guide).
  • Manage the process of integrating content into the Content Management Systems we build for clients.
  • Manage the quality assurance testing process to ensure Mighty Citizen solutions meet or exceed client expectations and align with defined project goals.
  • Manage the process of training clients on their website’s Content Management System.
  • Nurture ongoing client relationships.
  • Prepare presentation materials and documents for internal and client-facing meetings. 
  • Work with Project Managers to prepare and facilitate internal and client-facing meetings.
  • Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, document meeting notes and feedback, and translate into action items/next steps.
  • Continually evaluate project management systems and contribute suggestions for process improvements. 
  • Update weekly project resourcing estimates and work with Project Managers on ways to reduce hours when necessary.
  • Work with Project Managers and the Production Manager to identify resourcing conflicts and ensure accurate workload estimations on projects.
  • Other tasks required to make you and the company successful.
Expectations & Desired Skills

  • 2-3 years of project coordination or project management experience (web and/or marketing project coordination/management is a plus).
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience using common productive and project management tools (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, email programs, project management systems, etc.)
  • A positive attitude with clients and team members.
  • Strong foundational skills in organization, collaboration, and communication with an eagerness to develop leadership abilities.
  • Experience scheduling resources across projects and an aptitude for resolving conflicts between competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and an ability to support senior staff in tasks such as documenting project requirements, drafting client communications, and monitoring project schedules.
  • Beginner knowledge of web development, including some familiarity with best practices and standards related to writing for the web, user experience design, search engine optimization, and HTML/CSS.
  • A history of successfully managing multiple duties in a fast-paced agency environment. Experience with managing remote teams is a plus.

      Our Hiring Process

      We want our hiring process to be fair, equitable, and positive for all candidates. And we want to have a great hire at the end of it! Typically, it takes a final candidate 4-8 weeks to complete our hiring process. In today’s market, we know that is slower than most companies, but it’s important to us that we all come out better for it in the end. Here’s a look at the general timing of our hiring process:

      • 2-3 business weeks: Collect resumes
      • 1 business week: Initial phone interviews (30 minutes) with 5-10 candidates
      • 1-2 business weeks: Virtual interview (60 minutes) with 3-5 candidates
      • 1-2 business weeks: Third, and likely final, virtual interview (60 minutes) with 2-3 candidates
      • 1 business week: Check references, official offer, and negotiation
