Summary:

As a Project Coordinator at Powercast, you will play a key supporting role in helping our Project Manager deliver successful projects from start to finish. You will assist with planning, tracking, and executing project activities, while also taking ownership of smaller projects and tasks as assigned. Key Responsibilities:

Project Support:

  • Assist the Project Manager with developing and updating project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Help coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting notes and follow-up items.
  • Track progress on tasks and deliverables to ensure timelines are met.
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure it is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible.
  • Contribute to post-project reviews and help capture lessons learned.
  • Help implement project tracking tools and processes.

Smaller Projects Ownership:

  • Take lead on managing select smaller-scale projects or project components, under the guidance of the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to move tasks forward and meet milestones.
  • Monitor project risks and help resolve issues that arise during execution.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams and vendors regarding project updates and tasks.
  • Foster collaboration between team members by sharing updates and encouraging open communication.
  • Assist in preparing regular status reports and presentations for leadership and other stakeholders.

Expectations & Guidelines:

  • Project Management Methods: Learn and follow company project management processes and tools.
  • Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Documentation: Keep detailed, organized records of project materials and correspondence.
  • Communication: Practice clear, professional communication with team members and stakeholders.
  • Professionalism: Uphold a high standard of integrity, confidentiality, and respect in all project interactions.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination or administrative support roles
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace; familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Monday.com, Smartsheet’s, etc)

Preferred:

  • CAPM or similar entry-level project management certification
  • Experience managing small projects or initiatives independently
  • Basic understanding of project lifecycles and process improvement concepts
  • Ability to create simple project reports or visual dashboards
