Are you interested in becoming an employee-owner with a leading national general contractor that will provide you with opportunities to Build More in your professional career? The Christman Company is looking for a lead Project Scheduler in the Oklahoma City region.

The Project Scheduler will work with the project management team in developing, monitoring, and updating an integrated construction project plan and schedule so that projects are executed in the most efficient manner possible. This person will support and lead training programs, develop, implement, and maintain processes. The Project Scheduler will have a deep understanding of scheduling principles and how they can best be applied to achieve practical and impactful results through the execution lifecycle of the dynamic leased portfolio. The position will need to be adept at communicating complex details and large data sets from multiple sources to executive management and the program scheduler. In addition, the position will work closely site construction leads, cost analysts and other cross functional partners to ensure that key schedule risks are being identified, claims and changes analyzed, impacts identified and effectively communicate all of the risks and issues across the stakeholders. What You Will Do:

As Project Scheduler, your primary daily responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of acceptable planning and scheduling techniques and methods.

  • Working daily with the project team efforts toward the development of the project plan and translating that project plan into the project schedule.

  • Leading development and analysis of project schedules, CPM software implementation, time impact and delay analysis, and review of periodic schedule updates.

  • Develop the preparation of project time and cost claims.

  • At the completion of the project, assists in developing and recording the project's historical schedule information and "lessons learned", for use on future enterprise projects.

  • Demonstrates strong leadership/team-building skills as well as written and verbal communication skills.

  • Maintains a high level of technical expertise through continuing education programs and participation in schedule related professional activities.

  • Advance their professionalism by participating in and advancing professional organizations dedicated to professional planning and scheduling.

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor and appearance at all times and perform well under project constraints and deadlines.

  • Strong computer skills with P6, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project). Willingness to test and implement new technologies as they become available.

What You Will Bring to the Team:

Required experience, knowledge, and skills for this role include:

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.

  • Five (5) years of experience in the construction industry required in a project management or project planning role.

  • Experience with advanced schedule tooling and analytics, Knowledge of pull planning, and Earned Value Management.

  • Experience with MS Excel, MS Project, and/or Primavera P6.

  • Experience in preconstruction planning and schedule optimization, portfolio analytics and reporting.

  • Have the passion and commitment to building strong partnerships to support project goals.

  • Communication, organization, and analytical skills in this highly collaborative and strategic role.
