As a Project Accountant in our Outsourcing Accounting Services (OAS) group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with your outsourcing clients. The Outsourced Accounting Services (OAS) Project Accountant works with accounting software/systems, will manage a variety of tasks, and will be communicating with clients and co-workers.
This is a remote position that can work from anywhere within the United States.
What you’ll do at SN:- Assist your clients in the complete project cycle; to include project entry, billing and project related reporting.
- Services including: project setup, data management and grooming, client invoicing, bank reconciliations, credit card imports, and other transactional accounting functions
- Provide recurring daily/weekly transactional assists to clients including accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card import, and consultant invoice management.
- A problem solver for both the client and SN OAS. Identify the root cause of an issue and propose a solution to resolve it.
- Participate in the on-boarding process of new OAS clients.
- Always look for ways to help our clients and the firm improve processes and profitability and communicate suggestions to appropriate parties.

- Maintain a professional demeanor with all client interactions.
- Worked in Outsourced accounting doing full accounting and bookkeeping
- Worked in consulting or with multiple clients at a time in accounting
- Had a position with a strong commitment to providing unmatched client service
- Proficiency in multiple ERPs and billing software (we use Deltek Ajera)
- 3+ years of experience in Accounting at or above a staff accountant level
- Have worked in full bookkeeping, AP/AR and billing
- A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
- Experience in outsourced accounting, client services or having a book of multiple clients
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in appropriate manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels and practice areas within the organization
- Stage 1 (Preliminary Screening Call) with a member of our recruitment team
- Stage 2 (Hiring Director Interview) an interview with the Managing Director of Ajera Outsourced Accounting Services
- Stage 3 (Team Interview & Behavioral Interview) an interview with members of the OAS team and an interview with a member of our HR team
- Stage 4 (Technical Interview) a written technical interview focused on accounting skills

Salary: The salary range for this position is an estimate of $65,000 - $75,000. A final compensation offer within this range will be based on factors including an individual’s skill sets, experience, knowledge, licensure and certifications, and geography.
