Position Summary:
The Program Manager works to implement projects contracted by Redaptive customers by overseeing, planning, managing and tracking the progress of the program. They are responsible for high-level external relationship management and act as customer liaison during delivery of any solution. They are strategically focused and responsible for customer satisfaction, maintaining customer communication, and the overall management of customer relationships.
Program Managers are responsible for masterminding, outlining, and driving programs to completion. They are responsible for vendor management, budget management, risk identification and mitigation, program status reporting, escalations, and project schedule. Program Managers act as a liaison between the project team and upper-level management to focus attention on their customers’ projects. They prepare and present progress reports to the customer weekly. They work directly with customers to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and timeline

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provides strategic, technical, and operational leadership and management support of program that bring value to our company and our customers.
  • Responsible for correctly forecasting revenue for each Program assigned. Weekly reporting to internal stakeholders regarding if that revenue will be completed on time.
  • Manage implementation of Scope of Work as the customer’s trusted point of contact – operating as an owner’s representative.
  • Hire, drive and manage partners, suppliers, general contractors.
  • Budget management, including change orders, vendor invoicing approval, contingency/ allowance management, and margin preservation.
  • Drive safe and high-quality construction projects to completion.
  • Manage programs across multiple delivery streams and across multiple complex non-standard product solutions.
  • Assess, manage, and resolve risk to the overall Program, impacts and potential alternatives and escalate as required to the appropriate level of Leadership.
  • Build relationships with teams, providing servant action-oriented leadership, collaboration, conflict resolution, and effective facilitation to support the creation of high-performance, cross-functional team.

  • Experience with construction management software packages

  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 4-6 years of program management, or 2+ years' experience in a relevant field such as energy services, construction management, energy installation, vendor management, energy consulting
  • Familiar with multi-scope energy projects
  • Experience with the following technologies is a plus: lighting retrofits, HVAC retrofits, solar rooftop, carport, ground mount, heavy duty mechanical retrofits (boiler/chiller replacements), general electrical work exposure
  • Executive customer facing, B2B, complex PM experience
  • PMP, desired
  • Knowledge of the following systems:
    • Microsoft Office suite
    • Salesforce
    • Program management tool (Smartsheet, Procore, or similar)
  • Knowledge of construction and/or performance contracting processes (order management, documentation management, process improvement, strategic planning etc)

Travel:

25 % of travel time expected for the position, where the travel occurs, such as locally or in specific countries or states, and whether the travel is overnight.
