Estimated annual base pay: $100,800 (minimum) - $126,000 (midpoint) - $151,200 (maximum)

The Program Manager is accountable for the planning, directing, and execution of local and/or global projects. The Program Manager is responsible for managing projects and project team activities in the development and launch of new products or derivatives. Program Manager will direct and influence the project team to achieve project deliverables including contractual and business objectives while ensuring customer satisfaction and QDRC.
What you will be doing…
Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate medium-to-high complexity projects, managing scope, schedules, costs, risks, and deliverables to meet stakeholder expectations.
Strategic Contributions: Participate in strategic and profit planning processes, supporting new business development and proposals.
Process Improvement: Evaluate and implement improvements in product development processes, including creating and refining standards.
Team Guidance: Allocate resources, resolve conflicts, and mentor lower-level program managers to achieve project goals.
Customer Engagement: Serve as the primary customer contact, collaborating with Account Managers and presenting project updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and suppliers to ensure high-quality, cost-effective components and support product portfolio management.
Lifecycle Management: Leverage Woodward's Product Life Cycle (PLC) processes to drive successful project execution and development.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks while aligning with continuous improvement principles like 6 Sigma and Lean methodologies.
Execution Focus: Take over and execute existing project plans while developing and managing new project plans through the PLC process.
Commercial & Defense Projects: Manage a mix of commercial and defense/military projects, aligning with the organization's focus on hydraulics and diverse application
What we are looking for…
Education:
US – master’s degree in arts/sciences (MA/MS) - preferred
US – bachelor’s degree in arts/sciences (BA/BS)
Experience:
Project management experience in a PLC environment or closely related field
Previous management experience
License & Certifications (preferred):
Green Belt certification within one year of appointment
PMP (Project Management Professional) certification or agreed plan to achieve PMP certification
