The Program Manager, Business Operations is a trusted advisor within Credit & Payments. This specific role is responsible for helping to drive the broader business operating cadence in support of the President of Credit & Payments Services, specifically driving organization-wide processes enabling the President and core leaders to work effectively by ensuring internal and external stakeholders are aligned in driving strategy and execution. Key responsibilities include supporting President meetings and initiatives, driving strategic projects, supporting communication efforts that cut across operating functions, and consulting with leaders across the business.
A day in the life...
- Support and drive the Credit & Payments-wide operating cadence in direct partnership with the President of Credit & Payments and the senior leadership team
- Partner with finance, business, product, technology, and external partner leadership to facilitate critical operating measurement and reporting activities on behalf of the President with an emphasis on outcomes relevant to the Executive Leadership Group
- Partner with the President to drive accountability across the business by supporting various executive-level leadership meetings and owning meeting agendas and follow-ups
- Partner with the President to establish goals and develop / evolve strategies to drive growth across Credit & Payments with a lens towards balancing short-term results while building to a long-term vision
- Work across leaders to drive rigor in making critical operating decisions
- Proactively anticipate future business changes and challenges to inform new or revised plans
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Roadmap Support: You will support developing and implementing the organization’s short/long term business strategies and initiatives. You will proactively identify issues that may contribute to organizational success and provide solutions and recommendations.
- Business Function Integration: You will identify opportunities to create cross group collaboration and synergies within the teams the President supports and with key business partners, both internal and external. You will demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with leadership on sensitive business and organizational issues and are able to effectively manage ambiguity and propose workable solutions to challenging problems.
- Leadership Effectiveness and Communications: You will own and drive processes and agendas, including follow-through to enable successful leadership and operations of the Credit & Payments organization. You will assess current meetings and decision-making forums and provide recommendations for increasing effectiveness and the appropriate sequence/cadence. In partnership with the President of Credit and Payments, and the senior leadership team, you will facilitate agenda preparation and pre-work for key leadership meetings in a coordinated way so that meetings are highly productive and follow up/accountability measures are in place.
- Project Management: You will coordinate and support cross-cutting strategic initiatives and provide insight and thought leadership as needed. This includes identifying issues that impede business group success and providing solutions/recommendations. You are able to make key decisions on critical issues and drive results.
- Executive Information Management: You will work with partners across the Credit & Payments business in support of business outcomes reporting, particularly for executive sharing. You will proactively monitor relevant industry information that could impact the Credit & Payments business, sharing and consulting with business partners to increase alignment to strategic priorities and roadmap.

- Master’s or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years of relevant (and diverse) leadership experience
- Strong collaborator who demonstrates the ability to influence beyond the scope of position
- High degree of comfort with ambiguity and ability to quickly adapt and re-prioritize in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
- Excellent precise verbal and written communication with high attention to detail, coupled with a lens towards analytical / data-driven decisions
- Ability to effectively build relationships with internal partners, peers and leadership and rapidly become a thought partner through project work and beyond
- Must be able to dive deep into the details and understand the work, while also taking a long-term view
