- Defines and maintains the enterprise portfolio strategy in alignment with organizational vision and business objectives.
- Partners with senior executives to prioritize initiatives, with a focus on ensuring appropriate resourcing and governance for major CapEx programs.
- Translates corporate strategy into actionable portfolio roadmaps that include capital investments driving long-term organizational efficiency and growth.
- Establishes and maintains governance frameworks, portfolio review processes, and decision-making structures.
- Oversees portfolio performance through KPIs, OKRs, and financial metrics, ensuring visibility into CapEx project health and progress.
- Ensures programs and projects—especially those involving infrastructure, system modernization, and technology investment—are scoped, resourced, and sequenced effectively to maximize ROI.
- Leads portfolio-level financial planning, forecasting, and budget management for both OpEx and CapEx initiatives.
- Partners with Finance to ensure capital investments are prioritized, tracked, and reported in alignment with company financial targets and depreciation schedules.
- Optimizes allocation of people, technology, and budget resources to support efficient delivery of CapEx projects while maintaining operational continuity.
- Identifies and mitigates risks across the portfolio, including CapEx project dependencies, vendor management challenges, and delivery constraints.
- Tracks performance across the investment lifecycle, providing transparent reporting to executive leadership.
- Drives continuous improvement and standardization across CapEx delivery processes through metrics, lessons learned, and best-practice adoption.
- Serves as a key liaison between executive leadership, program managers, and delivery teams to ensure alignment and support for CapEx initiatives.
- Communicates portfolio priorities, financial performance, and capital project outcomes clearly across the organization.
- Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results-driven execution.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Ten (10) plus years of experience in program, portfolio, or strategy management, including direct oversight of large-scale CapEx projects or investment portfolios.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Strategic thinking, business acumen, and financial literacy, with deep understanding of CapEx and OpEx budgeting.
- Expertise in governance, program management methodologies (Agile, SAFe, PMI, or similar).
- Strong leadership, influence, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and decision-making skills.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities.
- Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional CapEx initiatives within matrixed organizations.
Salary: $133,300 - $179,900
Bonus eligible based on individual and company performance.
