Position Summary: ITI Solutions is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the United States Space Force (USSF) Mission Delta 6 (D6) Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) contract. The DCO SME is a well-rounded, hands on cyber security expert who supports development, improves proficiency, and increases operational effectiveness of USSF Cyber Squadron personnel by: providing/employing DCO capabilities, conducting intrusion detection monitoring and analysis, identifying malicious cyber activity and determining attack vectors, executing cyber response activities, developing defensive countermeasures, and providing Subject Matter Expertise to the United States Space Force Cyber Guardians.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the conduct and reporting of assigned programs and provides a single point of contact for those projects.
- Responsible for all personnel assigned to the program.
- Participates in regular Program Management Reviews.
- Takes projects from original concept through final implementation.
- Interfaces with all areas affected by the program, including end users, computer services, and client services.
- Defines project scope and objectives.
- Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables.
- Manages the integration of vendor tasks and tracks and reviews vendor deliverables.
- Provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team.
- Recommends and takes action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
Experience/Skills:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing IT and cybersecurity programs.
- Understanding of the Risk Management Framework.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles.
- Understanding of Security Control Assessment and Reporting
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead a team
Qualifications
Education:
- BS/BA degree in an IT-related field.
- An advanced degree is highly desired.
Certifications:
10 years of experience managing geographically separated teams in a DoD environment or B.S. in Cyber / IT related field with 5 years of experience. Must have a PMP and IAT LVL III certification. (Training / Certifications /Education aligned to higher proficiency levels can qualify lower proficiency levels)
- Security+ CE or equivalent required.
- CISSP or equivalent is highly desired.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) is highly desired.
Clearance:
Must be a US Citizen and hold a current TS/SCI eligibility
