The RoleThe Bitcoin Conference creates meaningful environments for people to connect, celebrate, and champion Bitcoin. Our events provide learning at every level, networking personally and professionally, and support bitcoiners in many ways. Whether you’re a newcomer, technologist, a business, investor, or developer, our conferences have something for you. With four annual events in four countries, we are on a mission to build powerful experiences that amplify and elevate the Bitcoin movement.
As a Programming Coordinator, you will be the connective tissue between our stages, speakers, and broader Bitcoin community. Your north star will be helping us source and manage the most relevant voices in Bitcoin, those who are shaping the conversation. While logistics, contracts, and tools can be taught, what we need most is someone who knows the space, knows the people, and can spot great content opportunities before others do. You’ll partner with Marketing, Sales, and Finance to deliver a world-class agendas.
Speaker & Content Curation
- Identify and recommend speakers actively shaping discourse in Bitcoin.
- Monitor Bitcoin Twitter, podcasts, the Bitcoin developer mailing list, and community spaces to surface emerging voices.
- Support session design by aligning topics with industry trends and audience interest.
Outreach & Communication
- Draft outreach and manage communications with speakers and their teams.
- Track confirmations, logistics, and timely follow-ups in coordination with Programming leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to provide speaker details for promotional use and announcement rollouts.
- Liaise with Sales/Partnerships to align sponsor involvement with programming.
- Work with Finance to ensure contracts and reimbursements are handled cleanly.
Logistics & Documentation
- Maintain accurate programming schedules across stages.
- Track contracts, forms, and speaker communications in tools like Airtable, and Google Suite.
- Manage the programming inbox and triage incoming speaker requests.
- Deep knowledge of the Bitcoin ecosystem, including familiarity with key voices, debates, and trends.
- Active participant or follower of Bitcoin Twitter, podcasts, and community conversations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable representing our brand with industry leaders.
- Prior experience in events, speaker coordination, or content programming is a plus, but not required.
- Hyper-organized, detail-oriented, and reliable in managing multiple threads simultaneously.
- Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion (or willingness to learn quickly).
