VetsEZ is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support a high-visibility healthcare modernization program within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This position plays a critical role in coordinating program operations, tracking deliverables, and ensuring alignment between technical teams, business objectives, and federal requirements. The ideal candidate brings exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support cross-functional teams in a complex, fast-paced environment.
This position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day program support, including tracking milestones, deliverables, action items, and risks across multiple integrated workstreams.
- Monitor project schedules and help maintain alignment between team activities, leadership objectives, and contractual commitments.
- Assist in the development of reports, briefing materials, dashboards, and documentation to support executive and stakeholder communication.
- Facilitate and document recurring internal and external meetings, summarizing decisions, capturing follow-up actions, and ensuring accountability across teams.
- Support quality assurance of deliverables by reviewing for completeness, consistency, and adherence to program standards.
- Assist with data calls, program reviews, and audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Coordinate across development, testing, and infrastructure teams to capture and track status of ongoing tasks.
- Maintain and organize internal knowledge repositories (e.g., SharePoint, Teams, or other collaboration tools).
- Interface with government stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate updates, and manage task execution.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting federal government programs, ideally within the Department of Veterans Affairs or healthcare sector.
- Strong understanding of project and program management principles, including experience with schedule tracking and performance monitoring.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or Confluence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing reports and executive-level briefings.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting VA IT programs or healthcare data initiatives.
- Experience with Agile methodologies or SAFe frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Power BI, or Tableau.
- Certification such as CAPM, PMP, or PMI-PBA.
