Knock is redefining the home buying and selling experience, and we’re only getting started! We’re a passionate team of industry experts who knew there had to be a better, simpler way for people to navigate the journey between homes. That people-first mindset is core to how we operate, and why Knock has been honored as one of Inc.’s Best Workplaces six times in the past seven years.

We bring that mindset into the work we do every day.  The Knock Bridge Loan™ empowers homebuyers to ‘buy before they sell’, by unlocking the equity in their current home, giving them greater convenience, certainty, and competitiveness.

Founded in 2015, Knock has grown into a trusted partner for thousands of homebuyers and a network of 60,000+ loan officers and agents across the country. Backed by top investors like Foundry Group, Trinity Capital, and the National Association of Realtors, we’ve built a reputation for innovation and trust, earning 900+ five-star Zillow and Trustpilot reviews and an A+ BBB rating.

We are looking for a results-driven Production Manager to lead our lending sales team and optimize loan origination workflows. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily sales operations, increasing loan pull-through percentages, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

As a Production Manager you will:

  • Lead your team by example, demonstrating how to properly support clients and referral partners through the lending process by maintaining a loan application pipeline, ensuring compliance within federal and state regulations, and company processes & procedures
  • Drive strong sales growth from the Loan Officer team to meet and exceed company targets for loan applications and loans closed, owning your teams contributions towards Knock’s goals
  • Promote a culture that puts People First, with an emphasis on best-in-class customer service that delights customers and referral partners
  • Coach and guide your team in their development as lending professionals by maintaining an open door as a resource - teaching them how to fish instead of providing the fish and creating job aids, process, or policy where you see opportunities to do so
  • Develop and grow market share by maintaining a quality network of business relationships that serves both as a source of referrals for your team and new mortgage lending opportunities
  • Partner with managers in Operations and other cross-functional stakeholders to remove obstacles for your team to get every loan to an on-time closing
  • Be a proactive knowledge source for Loan Officers, educating on mortgage services & products to assist Loan Advisors in helping customers determine the best options for their needs
  • Continually learn, grow, and expand your knowledge while also supporting others’ learning; act as a mentor and be a resource for others inside and outside of your team
  • Collaborate with the training coordinator to develop job aides for Loan Officers to thrive
  • Maintain required NMLS and State Licensing in states where Knock is licensed to originate mortgage loans, including any required continuing education
  • Take on ad-hoc projects as they arise & always be willing to support your team where they need you

We’d love you to bring:

  • Proven experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Originator with a minimum of 5 years experience in the industry
  • Demonstrated success leading teams of Mortgage Loan Originators as a Regional or Branch manager, or related position in the mortgage industry
  • You are a great coach, a team player, and a fantastic communicator
  • You get important $#!+ done and see initiatives through to completion
  • An innate drive to fix or improve what you see broken around you and ability to operate independently
  • Subject matter expert in FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
  • Experience using Encompass, Optimal Blue, and Customer Relationship Management Systems
  • Belief in creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices and programs that will further Knock’s commitment to making an impact, learning, putting people first, being open, and courageous
  • Have proven success working 100% remote in prior positions & are experienced leading  a distributed team
  • Experience in FINTECH, lending start-up, or driving massive year over year volume growth
  • We encourage you to apply even if you don’t have every listed requirement

Physical Requirements:

  • Set up and constantly operate a computer
  • Communicate and exchange accurate information to others via telephone or internet video applications

The candidate must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
