Fluidra is looking for a Production Lead to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT.

 

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

As a Production Team Leader, you are the person your team looks to every day. You keep things running smoothly on the floor, help everyone work safely, produce quality products, and at an efficient rate while maintaining a good accurate account of inventory. You’ll coach and support your team, solve problems, and make sure everyone is working together. 
  • Lead and monitor a production team to ensure safety, ethics, and high-quality standards are met.
  • Evaluate manufacturing equipment regularly for safety and functionality.
  • Ensure products meet quality standards and take action if issues arise.
  • Motivate and coach team members to maintain both high production quantity and quality.
  •  Keep accurate records of worker performance.
  • Engage with your team to create a positive atmosphere.
  • Communicate daily with scheduling, inventory, and shipping teams to align production goals.
  • Act as a communication bridge between workers and management to foster a positive, transparent work environment.
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of lean principles in the production area.
  • Own production goal attainment and help develop schedules to complete work orders efficiently.
  •  Ensure all necessary materials are available to keep production flowing smoothly.
  •  Maintain a clean and safe workspace in line with company standards.
  •  Perform other related duties as assigned.
WHAT WE SEEK
  • Lead by example with a continuous improvement mindset
  • 2+ years of manufacturing experience, with exposure to lean principles
  • Passionate about lean manufacturing and one-piece flow
  • Highly detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Strong communicator who builds positive team relationships
  • Committed to maintaining high safety and quality standards

EDUCATION

High School Diploma or equivalent
