This role of Production Worker will support our manufacturing plant by working alongside experienced workers who will assist in training within our unique manufacturing system. This is an entry level position that requires employees to work on-site with the physical requirements and environmental conditions.
Responsibilities for Production Worker:
- Operate machinery to assist in the production process
- Assemble materials and equipment as required
- Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines
- Transport raw materials from one place to another
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
- Conduct inspections and quality control of products
- Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required
- Must be flexible to work multiple shifts, overtime as needed, and have reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
- Able to walk and stand up for 10 hours per day
- Ability to work with others in all phases of manufacturing
- Must be able to safely and efficiently perform the duties of this job, including but not limited to: crawl, kneel, climb, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 100 lbs.
- All employees are required to have steel toe boots and supplied PPE
- Requires passing of physical examination and drug test
- Must be able to work in hot temperatures in the summer and cold temperatures in the winter months
- Must be able to work in dusty, dirty, and noisy factory conditions
