Our client is looking for a Production Designer / Graphic Artist (AI-First) to join their growing team. They operate within the beauty manufacturing and private-label product development industry and have built a strong reputation over decades by helping brands successfully bring cosmetic and skincare products to market while continuously modernizing their operations through technology and innovation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a highly creative and detail-oriented designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and embraces artificial intelligence as a core part of their workflow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing customer-facing label designs, packaging assets, marketing visuals, and AI-generated creative content while collaborating closely with leadership and the marketing team. This role combines production design, packaging execution, brand marketing, and emerging AI technologies into one highly impactful position.
- Apply client logos, artwork, and branding elements to product label templates accurately and efficiently.
- Create print-ready production files following packaging specifications and quality standards.
- Prepare files using proper CMYK settings, bleeds, dielines, and packaging requirements.
- Design custom artwork for customer projects when requested.
- Maintain organized libraries of templates, design assets, and production files.
- Develop marketing graphics for social media, email campaigns, digital promotions, and e-commerce platforms.
- Ensure visual consistency across all customer-facing and marketing materials.
- Leverage AI-powered design tools to accelerate production workflows and creative development.
- Generate marketing visuals using AI image-generation platforms.
- Produce short-form AI-generated motion graphics and video content for campaigns and social media.
- Test, evaluate, and introduce new AI creative tools and workflows as technology evolves.
- Collaborate closely with leadership and the Marketing Manager to execute creative initiatives.
- Balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design, production design, production art, or related creative roles.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience using AI image-generation tools such as Midjourney, Nano Banana, or similar platforms.
- Strong portfolio showcasing packaging, label production, marketing design, and AI-generated creative work.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Figma and Canva.
- Experience preparing print-ready production files.
- Understanding of packaging production specifications including bleeds, dielines, and color management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively in written English.
- Availability to overlap at least 5 hours per day with U.S. Eastern Time.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Strong creative judgment and ability to produce polished, professional designs.
- Experience working in consumer packaged goods (CPG), direct-to-consumer (DTC), manufacturing, packaging, or print production environments.
- Ability to manage recurring production tasks while maintaining creative excellence.
- Experience balancing production accuracy with marketing-focused design work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a rapidly evolving AI landscape.
- Ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly.
