The Product Strategy Analyst collaborates with Product Leaders, providing data-driven insights, developing business models, analyzing portfolios, and driving strategic decisions through reports and presentations.
We are currently seeking a proven Product Strategy Analyst to work closely with Product Leaders to develop business models, analyze product and portfolio performance, research new markets, and collaborate closely with internal partners by providing data-driven insights. Internal partners include Commercial Strategy, Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain. You will need to demonstrate excellent written and oral communication ability, strong data analytic skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence cross functional teams.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Work cross functionally to gather and analyze data to model business growth
- Partner with Product Leaders to develop business cases
- Present insights and recommendations to the Product Sr. Leadership team for decision-making and strategic planning.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to enable strategic decisions
- Develop forecasts for new products to enter new markets and to manage investments
- Analyze Calix’s product portfolio to optimize investments and simplify product lines
- Update and maintain key reports
- Influence collaborators to support business objectives
- Coordinate with internal organizations to improve processes
- Organize and lead quarterly business reviews
- Perform ad hoc analysis to quickly solve time sensitive operational issues and business cases
- Serve as a cross functional communication hub to facilitate decisions based on data analysis
Qualifications:
- Bachelor and/or master’s degree in a Business, Engineering or Computer Science
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in business analysis, requirements gathering, and presentation skills
- Experiences with Excel, Power BI, Salesforce, and Oracle
- Telecommunications industry experience including strong understanding of technology, markets, customers, and vendors is strongly preferred
- Proven ability at looking at solutions in unconventional ways. Seeing opportunities to innovate and lead the way
- Intellectual curiosity with a strong passion for continuous improvement and process automation
- Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and analytical abilities; Solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage multiple projects: organized, independent, and results-oriented; perform and execute job responsibilities with high level of accuracy daily
The base pay range for this position varies based on the geographic location. More information about the pay range specific to candidate location and other factors will be shared during the recruitment process. Individual pay is determined based on location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
