Essential Responsibilities
- Support the Key Account Managers in driving penetration of the Grid Automation portfolio into direct accounts, and some new customer targets as defined by the Regional Sales director.
- Ensure the development of new opportunities, drive adoption of new products, engage customers proactively to expand adoption of GA portfolio.
- Manage sales opportunities and forecasts through the use of SPEAK.
- Be accountable for meeting or exceeding the orders and sales plans.
- Work with customers to determine their CTQ's (Critical To Quality) metrics and appropriate product/service solutions needs.
- Outline, present and sell the value of our products and services that can benefit customer needs.
- Work directly with Customers to influence specifications and close key deals.
- Provide an essential link from the customer to commercial operations, marketing, engineering and product development teams.
- Develop and cultivate long-term relationships in support of the account strategy.
- Provide input to the Account Plans, long term and short term actions needed to grow.
- Awareness and able to discuss at a high level value of the GA portfolio.
- Become proficient in new products that build on and expand the core portfolio…for example M&D to APM, UR’s to centralized and virtualized controls.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering, Control & Instrumentation Engineering or other technical field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications, protection & control, asset management.
- Minimum of 5 years of Sales Experience within Utility or Industrial market places.
- Ability and willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time

- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute commercial programs.
