Job Summary:

The Product Quality Analyst I is responsible for testing web applications, Web APIs, and Batch applications. This role involves creating and executing manual and occassionally automated test cases, documenting defects, and collaborating with software engineers and stakeholders. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in quality assurance methodologies.

The Gig:

  • Create test cases to support business requirements of Web Applications, Web APIs and Batch Applications of all complexity levels.

  • Execute manual and automated test cases. Document defects thoroughly.

  • Experience collaborating with software engineers, business analysts, and business stake holders.

  • Entering test cases in test case management system to include comprehensive description of tests. Documenting test results in test case management system.

  • Find needles in hay stacks.

  • Monitoring the defect tracking systems including managing bug tracking.

  • Well versed with quality assurance methodologies and the SDLC.

  • Creative thinking and proposing solutions to grow our business by delighting our clients.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Comply with all policies and standards.

What you need to make the cut: 

  • Preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or Computer Engineering.

  • 1+ years experience in Manual or Automated Testing.

  • Proven ability to break software and frustrate software engineers.

  • Previous exposure to user interface development, billing/payroll modules, or import/export data files helpful.

  • Highly motivated, Innovative, self-directed thinker with an eagerness to stay up-to-date with current trends and a desire to impress.

  • Knowledge of Gherkin test format.

The pay range for this position is 45K to 75K per year (pay to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data). 

This role is eligible to participate in the quarterly bonus incentive plan.
