ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze and organize requirements into epics and stories, generate clear acceptance criteria
- Lead refinement sessions and collaborate with Business Analysts and team to prioritize backlogs
- Work with external teams to define timelines and identify and mitigate potential risks
- Collaborate with the scrum team to maximize velocity
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to refine priorities and ensure alignment with product goals
- Record meeting minutes and key decisions and distribute them with stakeholders
- Maintain continuous communication with customers, project SMEs, and key stakeholders to collect and document business requirements in support of program objectives
- Contribute to project documentation, support Program Interval planning, perform requirements review
- Ensure product delivery by tracking epics and stories to closure
- Identify opportunities to enhance processes and address customer pain points based on process
- optimization, technology, change management, or improved communication
- Trace customer requirements from inception through delivery
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), and create Business and Functional Requirement Documents
- Understand and translate technical details to clear and actionable stories and enablers
- Build relationships with external stakeholders, clients and internal teams
- Identify, gather and analyze data to understand business problems and opportunities
- Evaluate potential risks and recommend resolutions
- Collaborate with the development team to provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions
- Act as the primary point of contact with clients, external teams, and other stakeholders
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Possess strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (such as Scrum) and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), with a clear understanding of Agile, principles, roles and ceremonies
- Demonstrate exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills, as well as proficiency in documentation
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow up in a timely manner
- Have experience facilitating PI planning sessions, backlog refinement sessions, sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily standups
- Experience in creating detailed reports and presenting information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Possess expertise in using JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint for managing requirements and familiarity with other Agile tools such as Trello, Mural etc.
- Possess outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Candidates must have lived in the United States 3 out of the past 5 years
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience working in CMS projects.
- A Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification or other Agile-related certification
- Knowledge of Product Management best practices
EDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree (or higher)
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst/Product Owner in an Agile environment
