The Product Owner manages product development from vision to completion, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure customer needs are met using data-driven insights and Agile methodologies.
Bridgeway is seeking a Product Owner to oversee the development of products from start to completion to ensure they meet our customer needs. The Product Owner will be responsible for determining the overall vision of products, guiding the Technical team on user story requirements, prioritizing feature work, and ultimately drive teams to build successful solutions. A successful Product Owner will act as a close partner with architecture, engineering, marketing, customer support, and sales to build a best-in-class experience for our customers.
This is a remote position with up to 20% travel, East coast candidates preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Works with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders, including analytics, design/user experience, engineering, and user enablement.
- Turns data insights into products with actionable outcomes to the customer.
- Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks.
- Partners with stakeholders and customers across the organization to inform the product vision, strategy, features, and prioritization.
- Works with user-focused departments to define the self-service user experience, support, and monitoring for customers.
- Partners with sales departments to define the user experience for internal users, including support and monitoring.
- Translates product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, Epics, user stories, and acceptance test criteria.
- Prioritizes and maintains the sprint backlog for assigned products, balancing the requirements of stakeholders.
- Leads the product functional design process based on an intimate knowledge of the users and technology.
- Defines and executes go-to-market plan, working to ensure that product management, marketing, and sales have what they need to be successful.
- Develops and maintains appropriate tracking and reporting of product performance post-launch to evaluate future investment. Provide an active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.
- Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product. Follow competitors and the industry.
- Partners with Technical Writers to produce and maintain product documentation including release notes, user guides and Internal release notes.
- Actively participate in Process alignment, improvement and roll out strategy with Product and Engineering teams and leadership.
- Participate or lead product-related meetings like CCB, DRB, product showcase, UGC, Voc’s etc within respective product space.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional experience in Product Management and/or Product Development of commercial applications and taking product to market
- Proven track record of delivering data driven solutions with a customer-first mindset
- Established background in launching software or services in partnership with engineering teams and high degree of proficiency in prototyping, iterative development, understanding of Agile principles
- Experience successfully driving end-to-end delivery of data and intelligence solutions, including a wide variety of mechanisms, e.g. dashboards, APIs, real time alerts, etc.
- Experience with SDLC tools, such as ADO and Jira
- Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- Experience in healthcare, desirable
- UI/UX design experience, desirable
- Bachelor's in Business, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field
