ABOUT REPAY
REPAY (“Realtime Electronic Payments” / NASDAQ TICKER: RPAY) is an established and fast-growing publicly traded financial technology and payment processing company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with offices across the country. REPAY enables its customers to accept payments anytime, anywhere, and through any channel while providing a secure, seamless, and enjoyable payment experience for the end consumers. REPAY offers a comprehensive suite of electronic payment and funding solutions, including debit and credit card processing, ACH processing, Instant Funding, and electronic bill payment systems with full IVR, text, and mobile capabilities. The scalability of its products allows merchants of all sizes to add an instant arsenal of intelligent payment technology solutions to their businesses without significant development costs or infrastructure investments.

ABOUT THE ROLE

REPAY is a fast-paced FinTech company experiencing significant growth and expansion.  We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Owner to help drive the product roadmap for REPAY’s Clearing and Settlement (RCS) product.  RCS processes transactions after authorization, turning payment activity into settled and reconciled client deposits. RCS serves as the system of record that makes sure money moves correctly and merchants & ISOs get accurate, timely deposit and reporting.  For ISOs, REPAY’s RCS system delivers the settlement, reconciliation, and residual billing data ISOs need to run their operations. For merchants, RCS aggregates authorized transactions into a single daily batch and ACH deposit.

This role is responsible for the RCS money movement functionality and the complete service experience for ISO customers and merchants using our Clearing and Settlement platform.  As the product line grows, this role will be instrumental in expanding our market presence, enhancing our user experiences and accelerating revenue growth. You will partner with REPAY business leaders, Product Management, and engineering teams to translate stakeholder needs into product decisions and requirements that make clearing, settlement, and billing for high-volume consumer payments simpler, faster, and more reliable. This is an opportunity to join a growing team and make a meaningful impact on businesses that process significant consumer payment volumes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own and maintain a rolling four-quarter product roadmap for RCS, identifying market opportunities and aligning development priorities
  • Partner across Sales, Technology, Operations, Client Relations, and customers to drive roadmap decisions, and communicate changes to ISOs and merchants
  • Drive delivery of product initiatives in close coordination with Engineering and QA, prioritizing the backlog to deliver value quickly
  • Engage cross-functionally on Go-to-Market execution and ongoing technology and security maintenance priorities
  • Improve the external customer experience — usability, task efficiency, and adoption — while maintaining expert-level product and market knowledge
  • Apply AI tools to accelerate research, requirements development, and documentation of new functionality

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE NEEDED

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible Product Owner experience in consumer or business payments and financial technology
  • Demonstrated money movement experience across the full payment lifecycle — authorization, clearing, settlement, funding, and payout
  • Experience with merchant billing & residuals, including calculation, reporting, and reconciliation of ISO/partner residual payouts
  • Understanding of basic accounting practices (debits/credits, accruals, reconciliation) as they relate to clearing and settlement operations and merchant billing
  • Experience managing daily and monthly billing cycles and their effects on operations and reporting
  • Card brand expertise (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex) with a working understanding of interchange categories and their impact on merchant costs
  • Proven ability to translate stakeholder input into clear requirements — including hands-on use of AI tools for research, PRD development, and stakeholder communications — and lead cross-functional teams from problem definition through Agile engineering delivery
  • Skilled at consultative, technical, and business discussions with diverse stakeholders and customers, balancing competing priorities and operational risk
  • Proven ability to define and monitor user metrics (adoption, activation, task completion, support volume) to prioritize improvements
  • Well-organized, adaptable, and action-oriented, with a commitment to continuous improvement

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Payments Professional Certification (e.g., AAP, CPP)
  • Certified Product Owner or Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designation
  • Strong proficiency with JIRA and confluence
  • Background in UX research methods: interviews, usability testing, journey mapping
  • Experience in leading partner integration activities including business requirements, engagement model and technical coordination.
