About the Role
At Litify, our Business Analysts play a critical role in shaping, prioritizing, and executing the roadmap. They provide detailed requirements and direction for the Engineering and UX teams during software development cycles and ensure work is executed to specifications within our release framework. Product Owners are deeply engaged in continuous discovery, partnering with Product Managers on research, synthesizing client feedback into tangible requirements, and keeping up with competitive insights, and are responsible for writing functional requirements and acceptance criteria, supporting QA validation, and ensuring clarity across delivery teams.
This Business analyst position sits on the Litify AI Product Team, which builds cross-cutting AI capabilities that power multiple verticals of the Litify platform. As part of the AI team, you’ll have unique exposure to every product line at Litify, making this a highly collaborative and influential role. You’ll work with stakeholders across product, engineering, and design as your key partners, becoming an expert in how AI can deliver value across all facets of Litify’s platform.
In this role, you’ll:
- Work with Product Managers to produce and refine a detailed AI product roadmap and convert it into functional backlog items.
- Partner with Engineering daily to clarify requirements, remove blockers, and ensure teams have what they need to execute work.
- Write clear, testable user stories and acceptance criteria, and review sprint outputs against those criteria in partnership with QA.
- Collaborate closely with UX to assist with requirements gathering, customer research, and validation of new AI-driven features.
- Maintain visibility on tech debt, bugs, and key customer asks to ensure the backlog is balanced between innovation and stability.
- Partner with Customer Success and Support teams to deeply understand user needs and translate them into actionable product requirements.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for AI features across the platform, occasionally representing Litify in client meetings, demos, and design partner sessions.
- Work across vertical product teams to ensure Litify AI is consistently embedded, scaled, and delivered as a horizontal value proposition across the platform.
- 2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Product Manager.
- In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.
- Strong backlog management skills and the ability to write precise requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Outstanding communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excitement to work at the intersection of AI innovation and legal technology, with curiosity to learn across multiple product domains.
Disclosure:
The estimated base salary pay range for this role is $110,000-120,000. You may also be offered a bonus and benefits.
