About Freshpaint:

Healthcare is a $4+ trillion industry in the U.S. alone, and it’s undergoing a rapid digital transformation.

Hospitals, digital health companies, and life sciences organizations rely on analytics and advertising tools to reach patients, measure performance, and grow. But those tools weren’t built for regulated healthcare data. That creates real compliance risk and forces teams to choose between growth and privacy.

Freshpaint eliminates that trade-off.

We’re a privacy-first data platform that helps healthcare organizations use modern marketing and analytics tools without exposing protected health information (PHI). Freshpaint sits between a company’s website or app and the third-party tools they use, automatically detecting and controlling sensitive data before it’s shared.

In short: we let healthcare teams move fast, safely.

Backed by Top Investors

Freshpaint is backed by some of the most respected names in technology, including:

  • Y Combinator (OpenAI, Stripe, Airbnb, Coinbase, DoorDash)

  • Intel Capital (Broadcom, Astera Labs, VMware, RedHat, MongoDB)

We’ve raised tens of millions of dollars in funding to build the privacy infrastructure layer for healthcare’s digital future.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for a Product Marketing Manager who thrives on owning outcomes end-to-end and translating complex, technical products into clear stories that drive revenue. Freshpaint sits at the intersection of data, privacy, and performance, and our buyers need to quickly understand not just what we do, but why it matters and why we win.

This is a highly cross-functional, high-ownership role on a lean team. You’ll partner closely with Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing to define positioning, lead launches, and ensure our go-to-market efforts actually land in the market. The right person for this role is motivated by driving pipeline, improving win rates, and increasing adoption. You’re comfortable operating in ambiguity, enjoy solving messy problems, and can move fluidly from strategy to execution, whether that’s shaping messaging, enabling a deal, or driving a launch forward.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll own the go-to-market strategy and execution for a set of products and verticals, ensuring our positioning resonates, our launches drive pipeline, and our Sales and CS teams are set up to win. You’ll partner closely with Product across the full lifecycle, from shaping roadmap discussions to leading launches and supporting post-launch adoption. A core part of your role will be enabling Sales and CS to win more deals by developing clear narratives, addressing objections, and ensuring our messaging consistently lands in real customer conversations. You’ll also work closely with Marketing to bring our product stories to market through campaigns and content, while continuously gathering customer, market, and competitive insights to refine our strategy. Across everything, you’ll take ownership of outcomes and drive meaningful impact on how our products win in the market.

Primary responsibilities
  • Develop and own clear, differentiated positioning and messaging for key products and use cases

  • Lead go-to-market planning and execution for product and feature launches that drive pipeline and adoption

  • Partner with Product across the full lifecycle to shape roadmap, positioning, and launch strategy

  • Enable Sales and CS with narratives, talk tracks, and assets that improve win rates, deal velocity, and ACV

  • Identify and address recurring objections and friction points in the sales process through ongoing enablement

  • Partner with Marketing on campaigns, content, and storytelling that reinforce our product narrative and generate demand

  • Gather and synthesize customer, market, and competitive insights and apply them to messaging, positioning, and GTM strategy

  • Track performance of launches, messaging, and enablement efforts and continuously iterate based on results

  • Drive alignment across Product, Sales, CS, and Marketing to ensure consistent and effective execution

Desired skills & experience
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS product marketing

  • Proven track record of crafting positioning and messaging that clearly differentiates a product and resonates with target buyers

  • Experience leading product launches that drive measurable business impact, including pipeline and adoption

  • Demonstrated success building sales enablement that improves win rates, deal velocity, or ACV

  • Strong ability to simplify complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives

  • Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Sales, and Marketing in a fast-paced environment

  • High ownership mindset with a bias toward action and comfort operating in ambiguity

  • Analytical and outcome-oriented, with a focus on measuring impact and iterating based on results

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and a reputation as a trusted, go-to partner for PMs, sellers, and marketers.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to haves
  • AdTech or MarTech experience, especially in measurement, attribution, or performance marketing

  • Experience marketing to healthcare audiences or in privacy-sensitive industries

  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

  • Familiarity with data infrastructure tools such as CDPs or analytics platforms

  • Experience at an early-stage or growth-stage startup
