Role Description: 

ShipBob is seeking a Product Marketing Manager with a passion for customer success and a strategic focus on deepening engagement with ShipBob Plus merchants. This role goes beyond traditional product marketing by prioritizing messaging and positioning of product launches to our existing customers, nurturing their success, and driving adoption of new features and programs. You’ll be a key partner to our Merchant Success and Sales teams, leading initiatives that foster loyalty, drive cross-sell and upsell opportunities, and amplify the voice of our customers. This role reports to the Director, Product Marketing. 

What you’ll do: 

  • Customer-Centric Strategy: Develop and execute messaging strategies for product launches and enhancements, focusing on communicating value to existing ShipBob merchants. Conduct research and utilize data (VOC, competitive intelligence, salesforce, gong, etc) to maintain clear, differentiated messaging and inform marketing, sales, and product strategy. 
  • ShipBob Plus Merchant Nurture & Advocacy: Lead programs to nurture ShipBob Plus merchants and position the program externally to attract new prospects. 
  • Cross-Sell & Upsell Campaigns: Design and implement campaigns in partnership with Expansion Sales and Merchant Success to drive adoption of additional ShipBob solutions. 
  • Customer Insight Programs: Own and operate initiatives such as NPS surveys and the Customer Advisory Board for ShipBob Plus merchants. 
  • Cross-functional alignment: Collaborate closely with the Merchant Success team to identify customer needs and inform go-to-market strategies. Be a trusted liaison that drives product offering and solution alignment for joint success with Marketing, Partnerships, Sales, Product, Engineering, Operations, and Leadership. 
  • Merchant Success Partnership: Lead customer experience strategy and execution at ShipBob’s annual event, Fulfilled. 
  • Manage demand generation, go-to-market projects, and communications internally and externally. 
  • Create and update campaign assets, including but not limited to landing pages, email, video, graphics, and ad copy. 
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary. 

What you’ll bring to the table: 

  • 5+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in ecommerce technology, logistics, or software.  
  • Demonstrated success in customer-focused marketing, including cross-sell/upsell campaigns and customer insight programs 
  • Experience with hands-on integrated marketing programs and GTM campaigns. 
  • Experience in content, digital marketing, and email marketing. 
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills and a track record for delivering clear and compelling customer-facing materials in the technology sector. 
  • Strong attention to detail, highly entrepreneurial, creative, open-minded, persistent, and highly collaborative.

ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $89,441 - $149,069. In addition to base salary, this role includes the opportunity to be eligible for participation in the Company's discretionary bonus plan based on Company's plans and in accordance with Company’s policies.
