Description

We’re looking for a dynamic, driven Manager, Product Marketing to join our team and take charge of bringing our products to market. You’ll help own the strategy and execution of product positioning, messaging, and launches. Collaborating closely with product, sales, and marketing teams, you’ll ensure our offerings resonate with our target audience, differentiate us from competitors, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Positioning & Messaging: Develop clear, compelling product positioning and messaging that communicates the unique value of FMX’s offerings to the public sector and drives new business.
  • Product Launches: Coordinate, plan, and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates, ensuring alignment across teams and successful adoption.
  • Sales Enablement: Create sales collateral, competitive analyses, battle cards, and training materials to empower the sales team to articulate our value proposition effectively. 
  • Customer Insights: Conduct market research, customer interviews, and competitive analysis to understand buyer personas, pain points, and market trends. Communicate these findings to the product team and collaborate and innovate on new opportunities.
  • Demand Generation Support: Partner with the marketing team to develop campaigns that drive awareness and adoption, leveraging your product expertise to craft messaging and content. You’ll create external and internal copy surrounding products and features, including, but not limited to, website copy, datasheets, flyers/handouts, video scripts, product notifications, and email communications to support these efforts. 
  • Metrics & Reporting: Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing efforts, using data to optimize strategies and demonstrate ROI.
Requirements

Preferred Experience & Qualities:

  • Experience: 3–5+ years of product marketing experience, preferably in B2B SaaS or the public sector
  • Market Knowledge: Familiarity with education or government, facilities management, or B2B Saas is a plus
  • Storytelling Skills: Exceptional ability to translate complex product features into compelling, customer-centric messaging
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: A track record of working effectively with product, sales, and marketing teams
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data to drive decision-making and demonstrate the impact of marketing initiatives
  • Creativity & Initiative: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and enjoys thinking outside the box

The hiring process for this role:

  • Phone screen with HR: A 30-minute conversation to review your background and experiences, discuss the culture at FMX, and ensure that you understand the general expectations for the role. Also, a great time for you to ask questions about compensation, benefits, etc.
  • Hiring manager conversation: A 60-minute conversation with the VP of Marketing. 
  • Assessment: As part of the interview process, candidates will be asked to complete a brief product marketing assessment.
  • Panel Interview: 
    • A 60-minute peer interview with the Marketing team.
    • A 60-minute peer interview with the Product team.

Compensation:

  • The on target earnings for this position is expected to be $120,000.  
  • 401(k) and medical/dental/vision insurance
