At Skillsoft, we propel organizations and people to grow together through transformative learning experiences. We believe every team member has the potential to be AMAZING. Join us in our quest to transform learning and help individuals unleash their edge.

As a Product Marketing Launch Manager at Skillsoft, you will orchestrate the successful go-to-market (GTM) launches of our new products, features, and offerings. You will be the central hub of our launch process, acting as the air traffic controller who ensures every team—from Product and Engineering to Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing—is aligned, informed, and executing on time.

This is a critical, high-visibility role for someone who thrives on turning complex product roadmaps into clear, actionable launch plans. You are a master of process, a brilliant communicator, and you have a deep appreciation for the strategic importance of a well-executed launch in an enterprise B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Launch Strategy & Planning:
    • Partner with Product Marketing Managers to translate GTM strategy into a detailed, end-to-end project plan for every launch.
    • Define launch tiers (e.g., Tier 1-3) and establish standardized processes and deliverables for each.
    • Establish clear launch goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and a framework for measuring success post-launch.
    • Identify potential risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, proactively developing mitigation plans.
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration & Leadership:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact and lead for all cross-functional launch activities.
    • Run regular, efficient launch meetings with stakeholders from Product Management, Sales, Customer Success, Support, Legal, and the broader Marketing team (Content, Growth, Comms, etc.).
    • Create and manage a master launch calendar and detailed project timelines (e.g., using Asana, Jira, Smartsheet) to ensure all deliverables are on track.
    • Drive alignment and accountability across all teams, ensuring a shared understanding of launch objectives, timelines, and individual responsibilities.
  • Execution & Communication:
    • Manage the "Go-to-Market Launch Checklist," tracking the creation and completion of all assets and activities. This includes sales enablement materials, marketing collateral, blog posts, press releases, website updates, internal training, and customer communications.
    • Develop and manage the internal communication plan to ensure all employees are aware of and excited about upcoming releases.
    • Coordinate with the Sales Enablement team to ensure the field is fully prepared to sell the new product/feature, including facilitating training sessions and distributing key assets.
  • Process Improvement & Reporting:
    • Conduct post-launch retrospectives ("post-mortems") with the cross-functional team to gather feedback, celebrate successes, and identify areas for improvement.
    • Continuously refine and optimize our GTM launch process to improve efficiency, collaboration, and market impact.
    • Track and report on launch KPIs to leadership, providing insights into performance and recommendations for future launches.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, or product marketing within a B2B SaaS, or enterprise software company (preferably in the EdTech or Learning & Development (L&D) industry).
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field (or comparable mix of experience and education)
  • Proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional product or feature launches from start to finish.
  • Expert-level proficiency with project management tools such as Asana.
  • Formal project management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum Master certification).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail. You can manage multiple projects simultaneously without letting anything slip through the cracks.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to lead meetings, influence stakeholders, and clearly articulate complex information to different audiences.
  • A self-starter with a proactive mindset who can operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Pragmatic Marketing or a similar product marketing framework.

Target base salary range for this job requisition is anticipated to be approximately $95,000- $105,000 annualized.

We also offer Enterprise benefits including but not limited to: medical, dental, vision, and paid time off

The company may modify salaries, salary ranges and/or Pay Plans from time to time as it deems necessary.
