As Product Manager, you'll lead the development of an agricultural carbon removal platform, managing the product roadmap and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize features and integrations.
We're seeking a Product Manager to lead the development of our agricultural carbon removal platform. You'll be at the intersection of cutting-edge climate technology, agriculture, and carbon markets, building products that enable farmers to capture atmospheric CO2 while improving their crop yields and soil health. As our Product Manager, you'll own the product roadmap for our proprietary software platform that optimizes basalt application strategies, measures carbon removal with high accuracy, and manages the entire lifecycle from farm application to carbon credit sales.
Product Management Fundamentals
- Sprint Management: Lead agile development cycles; manage sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives with our engineering team.
- Product Roadmap: Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
- User Requirements: Conduct customer interviews, gather stakeholder feedback, and translate insights into detailed product requirements.
- Wireframing & Design: Create wireframes, user flows, and work closely with UX/UI designers to craft intuitive interfaces for our web and mobile applications.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, sales, operations, and science teams to deliver product features on time and within scope.
- Metrics & Analytics: Define success metrics, analyze product performance, and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Data Systems & Backend Architecture: Design requirements for scalable data pipelines, APIs, and backend systems; collaborate with engineering on data architecture decisions that support both operational workflows and customer-facing analytics.
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure product features meet carbon market standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data Integrity: Implement robust data collection and verification processes to maintain the highest accuracy in carbon quantification.
- Carbon Credit Lifecycle Management: Design and optimize internal workflows for carbon credit validation, tracking, and market integration while ensuring seamless integration with relevant regulatory frameworks.
- Third-Party Integrations: Build integrations and develop features that enable seamless data exchange with external platforms and regulatory systems.
- Agricultural Platform Integration: Design and implement connections with agricultural data systems to enable automated data collection and workflow verification.
- Crop System Optimization: Build product features that help our teams account for different crop rotation systems, planting schedules, and agricultural practices.
- Soil Sampling Workflows: Optimize our digital workflows for soil sampling protocols, lab integration, and result interpretation.
- Partner Engagement Tools: Build analytics and reporting features that demonstrate value and ROI to agricultural partners.
- Farm Operations Integration: Design features that fit seamlessly into existing farm management workflows and seasonal operations.
