Job Description:
Technical Product Manager will help define and execute the networking and interconnection product strategy supporting all Flexential’s colocation, cloud, and managed services. As a key member of the product management team, you will have the unique opportunity to work with every other product in our portfolio to develop a truly differentiated interconnection offer that is the foundation of Flexential’s strategy.Working with executive leadership, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and end users, you will determine specific business needs and then create the necessary product requirements that will act as the blueprint for development, backbone engineers, and operation team.
Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions:
Business Management and Improvement
- Identify new initiatives and influence the roadmap to maximize long-term product/ financial performance
- Create business cases for new initiatives (products, enhancements, optimization) with a clear focus on why, how, and the financial benefit
- Identify, track, and manage product KPIs
Product Development / Lifecycle
- Own and execute the product roadmap with a clear focus on financial outcomes and value delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, sales, operations, finance) to drive execution against strategic priorities.
- Serve as the “Product Owner”, translating the strategy and vision into executable projects, prioritizing, and ensuring quality execution.
- Accountable for project outcomes
Organizational Engagement
- Maintains a focus on Leadership, Trust, and Teamwork throughout all engagements
- Present business cases and project status to executives and cross functional teams for alignment, engagement, and resource requests.
- Partner with cross functional teams to execute on projects and optimize the product set
- Ensure adherence to Flexential’s best practices for product delivery and pre-defined processes
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in product management, with a focus on interconnection services, telecom, or cloud technologies.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive product decisions and improve profitability.
- Proven track record of managing products through their lifecycle and delivering successful product outcomes.
- Experience with cross-functional team collaboration, including engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate product vision and strategy to stakeholders at all levels.
- Familiarity with market research tools, product management software, and customer feedback platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Results driven and action oriented
- Interconnection experience with colocation, multi cloud, and hybrid cloud deployments
- Detailed understanding of the product set, market dynamics, and customer needs
- Strong financial and business acumen
- Exceptional leadership and change management skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Moderate or advanced keyboard usage
Base Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $153,000 - $170,000. However, the actual pay range depends on each candidate’s experience, location, and qualifications.
