About the Role:
We’re looking for a creative, results-driven Product Manager to grow and engage users across Yahoo Games. You’ll help shape product strategy and collaborate closely with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, and external partners to launch new games and platform features.
This role focuses on the creation and curation of our games portfolio. You will play a key role in conceptualizing and developing new games and in-platform features (like streaks and leaderboards) to sourcing, evaluating, and integrating third-party games. You'll use data to analyze performance and drive improvements in engagement, retention, and monetization.
Additionally, you will partner with teams across the company to enhance game discovery and drive awareness of our gaming services. To succeed, you’ll need a strong grasp of game development, live ops, player behavior, market trends - and a genuine passion for gaming.
What You’ll Do:
Define and evolve the product strategy and roadmap for Yahoo Games, aligning with broader business goals.
Collaborate cross-functionally to align game offerings with audience preferences, engagement metrics, and content strategy.
Partner with internal and external game developers to lead the development process, ensure a quality experience and ideate features that boost engagement and retention.
Identify opportunities to surface games across the Yahoo ecosystem, using personalization to increase visibility and drive clicks.
Advocate for players using insights from user interactions, feedback, behavioral data, market research, competitive analysis, and experimentation.
Build dashboards to track gameplay metrics, monitor KPIs, and analyze data to deliver actionable insights and drive performance improvements.
Prioritize and define feature requirements in collaboration with design and engineering; balance impact with technical constraints.
Lead an agile scrum team to ship iterative value and work toward the long-term product vision.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in games and media product management.
What You Bring:
3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on consumer-facing products.
Strong interest in gaming; direct experience in the gaming industry is preferred.
Proven track record leading product development from concept to launch.
Experience delivering high-impact products using user-centered design, agile/scrum methodologies, and data-driven decision-making.
Experience managing external partners or stakeholder relationships.
Strong understanding of consumer behavior and engagement in digital media.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about innovation.
Experience in A/B testing, data analysis, and using analytics tools to inform decisions.
Familiarity with international data privacy regulations is a plus.

The compensation for this position ranges from $96,000.00 - $200,000.00/yr and will vary depending on factors such as your location, skills and experience.The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus or commissions.
