The Product Manager will oversee clinical terminology capabilities, collaborate with teams, manage product roadmaps, and drive product adoption and value in healthcare data solutions.

We are seeking a Product Manager, Terminology to take end-to-end ownership of foundational clinical terminology and reference data capabilities that power IMO Health solutions — from ideation and design through launch, adoption, iteration, and retirement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of customer needs, business objectives, and technology, and who enjoys stewarding capabilities to ensure they continuously deliver value.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build a deep understanding of the healthcare data quality needs of IMO Health customers and prospects, including channel nuances
- Identify, prioritize, and fill gaps in foundational terminology capabilities to support IMO Health solution development
- Collaborate cross-functionally to define technical/operational enhancements enabling more efficient solution development and delivery
- Define outcomes-based product roadmaps in support of the overall business strategy, with consideration for cost/benefit tradeoffs
- Provide development teams with clear and descriptive requirements that are aligned to initiatives and goals, and captured user stories.
- Establish and communicate product updates and releases to internal and external stakeholders.
- Guide cross-functional teams (with representation from engineering, architecture, UX, client services, sales and marketing) through the product lifecycle process amidst evolving and competing priorities.
- Develop and articulate business cases for new initiatives.
- Articulate product positioning and customer value.
- Support marketing and sales initiatives to drive awareness and adoption.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
- 4+ years’ experience in product management, product development, or related field,
- Healthcare informatics or technology industry experience, preferably with deep EHR workflow expertise (including Epic, Meditech, Oracle, NextGen, etc)
- Understanding of major code systems (especially CPT, LOINC, SNOMED, ICD-10)
- Experience working with third party content vendors and contract review is a plus
- Strong ability to influence without authority across technical and business teams
- Strategic thinking and prioritization skills with comfort navigating ambiguity
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with high-performing teams
- Occasional travel for on-site team collaboration and client/partner meetings (2-3x/year)
