About the Role
We’re looking for a Product Manager to lead the strategy and development of our Sites platform - a product in the FareHarbor ecosystem that enables clients to grow revenue, strengthen their brand, and deliver seamless booking experiences.
This role requires a strong product manager with solid understanding of modern web development. You don’t need to write code, but you must be able to speak fluently with engineers, understand architectural trade-offs, evaluate technical approaches, and make decisions that consider both user needs and engineering constraints.
You will work across multiple product surfaces, support cross-team engineering initiatives, and drive commercially meaningful outcomes. Because our sites directly generate revenue for clients and FareHarbor, commercial thinking, experimentation, and performance-driven decision making are essential.
Our Sites platform powers thousands of client websites, including a newer product still undergoing validation. You will lead that product’s evolution - testing hypotheses, improving performance, and guiding the path from experimentation to scale.
What you’ll do here:
Lead the Strategy and Roadmap for the Sites Platform- Own strategy and execution for all Sites products, including the newer experimental product.
- Ensure technical decisions align with long-term scalability and platform quality.
- Partner closely with Commercial, Onboarding, and Support teams to ensure product decisions reflect client needs, revenue opportunities, and go-to-market realities, creating tight alignment between product strategy and commercial execution.
- Work closely with engineering teams to understand architecture, components, and limitations.
- Break down complex technical topics into clear product requirements.
- Evaluate proposed solutions, understanding trade-offs between speed, performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Drive alignment across multiple engineering teams integrating with Sites.
- Ensure Sites follow modern web standards including performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and SEO best practices.
- Understand web frameworks, client/server interactions, and CMS structures enough to guide decisions and evaluate feasibility.
- Advocate for high-quality technical implementation and long-term maintainability.
Requirements:
Must-Have- 5+ years of hands-on product management experience with web products or CMS platforms.
- Strong understanding of web development concepts (e.g., front-end components, themes/templates, APIs, performance, site architecture).
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate deeply with engineering and speak fluently about technical trade-offs.
- Strong commercial awareness, with experience driving revenue and performance outcomes.
- Proven ability to handle multiple interconnected product surfaces and cross-team dependencies.
- Strong analytical skills and experience running experiments or optimizing web performance.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with SEO, booking funnels, performance optimization, or UX for conversion.
- Previous experience in the tours & activities sector.
