What you will do:
As a Product Manager at Neptune Retail Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the product vision for our cutting-edge retail solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products that meet the needs of our clients and end-users, enabling them to achieve measurable results in a competitive retail landscape.


Your responsibilities will include:


Product Strategy & Vision: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with company objectives and market needs. You will contribute to the strategic direction of our CPG and retailer solutions by maintaining our current products and identifying opportunities for new features.


Product Development & Lifecycle Management:
Lead product development lifecycle from ideation to launch, working closely with engineering, design, and other teams to deliver high-quality solutions. You will be contribute to the prioritization of features, managing product backlogs, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining a focus on customer needs and business impact.


Customer Insights & Market Research: Gather insights from customers, end-users, and internal stakeholders to inform product decisions. Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor offerings, ensuring that NRS remains a leader in the retail space.


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, operations, finance, and engineering to ensure product initiatives are well-supported and delivered effectively. Your role will involve clear communication and alignment with various departments to ensure smooth execution of product plans.


Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to assess product performance, track KPIs, and iterate on product features. You will continuously evaluate product success and adjust based on quantitative and qualitative feedback to improve product offerings.


Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to optimize existing products, processes, and tools, ensuring that Neptune Retail Solutions delivers innovative, high-quality retail solutions that drive value for clients and users.

 

Required Skills:

To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Manager or in a similar product development role, ideally in retail, SaaS, or a related industry.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • Technical background with the ability to understand engineering concepts and communicate them effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience collaborating and building trust with engineers, data science, finance, operations and other cross functional teams 
  • Data oriented experience with a track record of leveraging data and analytics to drive decisions, prioritize initiatives, and measure success
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear product documentation, reports, and presentations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with product development processes and technologies, such as agile methodologies and modern tech stacks, is highly beneficial.
