The Role
Mode Mobile is looking for an all-star Product Manager to join our Product-led organization and build great software that users love. We are a user-facing product team, and we are looking for someone who wants to help users monetize their everyday activities - not just through mobile, but increasingly via web experiences as well. The product manager will report to the Director of Product and lead their cross-functional team.
We are hiring a Product Manager to lead our expanding portfolio of B2C mobile apps, optimizing and scaling the products to drive new revenue to the business. You will help drive product strategy, roadmap development, and feature execution across mobile platforms (primarily Android), ensuring the apps deliver an exceptional user experience that also monetizes efficiently for the business.
You will report to the Director of Product and work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and monetization teams. The role will also involve collaborating with our M&A and integration teams to successfully onboard new apps and drive post-acquisition optimization.
Who You Are
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for the apps in the portfolio—from user research and product definition to launch, measurement, and iteration.
- Develop and maintain a compelling product roadmap aligned with user needs and business objectives.
- Lead integration of newly acquired apps—evaluating features, performance, and monetization opportunities.
- Collaborate with growth and marketing to scale the apps’ user base and drive retention.
- Work closely with engineering and design to define product requirements and deliver world-class experiences.
- Leverage data and user research to prioritize development work and improve product-market fit.
- Collaborate with monetization and ad yield teams to optimize in-app revenue across products.
- Act as the voice of the user, deeply understanding pain points, behavior, and motivations through qualitative and quantitative inputs.
What You’ll Do
- You’re a self-starter and thrive in ambiguity. You may not have the answers, but you know how to ask questions and take the first step. You don’t get stuck in first gear.
- There’s no task you’re not willing and able to take on; scrappy and resourceful are two adjectives you use to describe yourself.
- You can confidently say “no” or “not yet” and “here’s why.” You can prioritize based on alignment to goals, impact, risk, complexity, and effort..
- You can deftly balance user and business needs - maximizing both business value and user experience.
- You rely on all forms of insight to identify problems and areas for opportunity: business metrics, qualitative and quantitative data, competitive analysis, leadership, and stakeholder feedback.
- You’re able to expertly own the entire all parts of the product lifecycle: from discovery, validation, experimentation, continuous delivery, and measurement.
- You can work closely with UX Designers to develop solutions that are thoughtful, intuitive, and helpful.
- You work collaboratively with your engineering team to define detailed product epics and stories to support the delivery of objectives as measured by key results.
- You have experience in delivering high-quality, responsive web experiences that scale, and can lead product development across both mobile and web platforms.
- You’re comfortable working in both 0 to 1 products with a high degree of ambiguity and optimizing existing products to drive growth and scale.
- You deliver on your goals. You are responsible and accountable for your actions and decisions, and you take ownership of the outcomes.
- You’re passionate about privacy, security, and mobile utility products that help users control their digital lives.
- You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and are excited to take ownership of a category with untapped growth potential.
- You’re analytical and user-centric, with strong instincts for product usability and monetization.
- You’re resourceful and capable of working across teams to get things done, even without formal authority.
- You love diving into user data, app store reviews, and competitor research to find opportunities.
