About the Role:

As a Product Manager for the Marketplace at Wander, you'll lead the development and optimization of our marketplace, shaping how users interact with our platform and discover extraordinary travel experiences. You'll blend your exceptional design sensibility, deep analytical expertise, and product acumen to drive growth, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the roadmap and execution for Wander’s marketplace, aligning closely with design, engineering, and business teams.

  • Drive product decisions using qualitative insights, rigorous data analysis, and A/B testing.

  • Collaborate with designers to create beautiful, intuitive user experiences.

  • Define success metrics, measure results, and rapidly iterate to enhance marketplace performance.

  • Communicate effectively across teams, ensuring clarity and alignment around product strategy and execution.

  • Stay attuned to user needs, market trends, and competitor dynamics to inform strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in product management, ideally in marketplace platforms, e-commerce, or consumer-facing technology.

  • Proven track record in designing and launching successful products with outstanding user experience.

  • Expert-level skills in analytics tools and methodologies, including A/B testing, experimentation frameworks, and data interpretation.

  • Exceptional taste in design and user experience, able to thoughtfully critique and improve design proposals.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable working asynchronously and collaboratively within a remote-first environment.

  • Proactive, self-driven, and passionate about elevating the user experience.

Bonus Points:

  • Background or strong interest in travel-tech, hospitality, or similar industries.

  • Background in software engineering or demonstrated ability to deeply understand technical systems, architecture, and technical tradeoffs.

  • Previous experience in early-stage startups or high-growth environments.
