We are more than a fast-paced, high-growth tech company; we care about our people and take career progression seriously. This is your career and our aim is to supercharge it through the people, the work, and the programs that fuel who we are.

About the role

This is the perfect role for product managers who are newer in their career and ready to shine. As the co-pilot for the Cash Advance Mission Aligned Team (MAT), you will help the cash advance product team execute and drive their vision forward. You’ll collaborate daily with designers, product managers, and engineers, and you’ll interface with the General Manager of Membership and your Group Product Manager. Primarily, you’ll help the PMs and team leads drive experiments, drive forward PRDs, research new opportunities, and manage the backlog. You’ll generate reports and share your discoveries and insights with the team. You’ll also oversee small scale projects related to cash advance acquisition, retention, user experience, and repayments. We are looking for someone who loves to execute, can collaborate in ambiguous waters, and can be given multiple challenges at the same time and thrive. We want someone with a strong bias for action, takes ownership, and comes with solutions to problems we didn’t know existed. The teammate that will thrive in this role has excellent written, oral, and presentational skills, and has the confidence and data-driven nature to disagree and debate when necessary. This person is also joining a team committed to changing the landscape of finance for the underbanked and underserved in North America. If this sounds like you, let’s talk!

What you’ll be working on:

  • Support PRDs & Experiments - Work with the product managers in fintech to start, lead, and complete various PRDs and Experiments so that execution and forward momentum is prioritized.
  • Project Management - Assist MAT leads in the project management of the backlog. Help drive individual projects (as a project owner) and ensure the PRDs & Experiment projects in the pipeline are running smoothly, communicating with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead Ceremonies - Lead sprint and MAT lead ceremonies where necessary for backlog grooming, sprint planning, and similar meetings. Work with the PMs and GPM on OKR updates and compiling results.
  • Research and Data Analysis - Speak with customers, dig into UXR data, create and compile research on competitors, dogfood the product, analyse key product and usage data for trends and opportunities, and participate in many other research work to drive quality decision making.
  • Compile & Share Insights - Conclude experiments, gather insights, and share learnings with the product team, your MAT teammates, and the broader vertical. Proactively seek opportunities where we have insight gaps, and create smoke tests, experiments, and research that can get signal on the truth.

Who we’re looking for:

  • 2+ years in B2C product management or similar roles.
  • Previous experience working directly with engineering and design teams and having shipped products to market.
  • Experience building and iterating on MVP features and experience working with products in 0 to 1 stages and 1 to 10 growth stages.
  • Project management and agile experience (in any industry).
  • Excellent communication skills with immediate teams, engineers, designers, executives (written, oral, and presentational).
  • Data driven analytical thinking, and back statements up with facts and examples.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity with a strong bias for action.
  • Humble, flexible, and willing to jump in on exciting, front-line projects and less glamorous tasks.

Bonus points for:

  • Background in data analytics, risk or lending
  • Solid understanding of product management principles (e.g. Reforge, PMMC fit, etc)
  • Experience working directly with Amplitude, Figma, Jira, Notion, Looker, and Google Suite
  • Background in consumer, mobile, and fintech
  • Deep understanding of subscription and membership models and space.
  • Experience with UXR and customer, competitive, and market research.

We’ve got you covered

  • Competitive salary packages, equity options, great benefits from day one, wellness budgets, as well as personal and team-level development budgets
  • We are remote first – you have the flexibility to work from around the world and the hours that make sense for you– so that you can do your best work while living life on your own terms
  • Other perks include: unlimited PTO, recharge days, travel discounts on SuperTravel, Weekly UberEats credit, annual company offsite
  • We welcome new family additions with generous parental leave and a flexible return-to-work plan
  • This is just scratching the surface– see our careers site for a more detailed overview of our perks & benefits
