Your roleGridium’s analytics platform is fueled by data. We manage an ETL pipeline that aggregates energy data from hundreds of sources. We are seeking a U.S.-based product manager with experience managing data integrations and data quality for SaaS platforms. The ideal candidate is comfortable researching 3rd party software platforms, digging deep into data, and collaborating with software engineers about the best ways to ingest and verify the quality of data. Also, you should have experience working with sales and customer success teams to prioritize integrations in a strategic way to expand support to more customers.
Candidates should have experience working with a variety of tools including API testing (such as Postman, Swagger), documentation tools, data quality testing, monitoring tools (like Datadog), and tools for viewing structured data. In addition, you should be comfortable with technical aspects of integrations including structured data, authentication methods, output logs, and common integration patterns with APIs and ETL processes.
In this position you will:
Manage the data integrations that are offered with our SaaS energy management platform to ingest energy data from utility platforms and other 3rd parties
Research and document technical requirements for new data integrations
Build and maintain partnerships with utilities and other 3rd party partners
Work with stakeholders such as sales and customer success to prioritize the roadmap of integrations
Maintain the backlog of integration enhancements and bug fixes for engineering
Launch new integrations seamlessly with validated data quality
Accelerate new customers by improving internal tools to provision data sources
Ensure ongoing data quality by managing internally developed quality tools as well as maintaining an effective data quality process
Passion for enabling high-quality data services for customers and a strong eye for detail
Track record of overcoming setbacks to data access: tracking down permissions, API docs/tokens, paperwork, red tape, and establishing partnerships
Experience with solutions that utilize ETL processes, API integrations, and/or robotic process automation to ingest and transform/normalize data
Hands-on experience configuring and organizing large amounts of data from multiple sources in a SaaS platform serving large numbers of customers
Experience documenting product requirements, including security and compliance aspects, as part of the software development process
Nice to have: experience working with utility data (billing data, meter data, Green Button)
Must currently reside in the United States and have the legal right to work in the United States
At least three years experience in a product role for a SaaS platform that sources data from numerous 3rd party systems
