Job  Title: Product Manager, Agentic AI Integrations

Job Location: Hybrid WCO, U.S.
Department: AECO, Agentic AI Integration Team

Level:  Product Manager (P3) - Commensurate with Experience

What you will do:

Trimble is seeking an innovative, hands-on, and forward-thinking Product Manager to spearhead our Agentic AI Integration Team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge Agentic AI technologies into Trimble's diverse portfolio of software products and solutions. This pivotal role will initially focus on the Architecture, Engineering, Construction, and Owners (AECO) and Field Systems (FS) segments, driving the strategy and execution of AI-powered capabilities that deliver transformative value and tangible value to our customers. We are looking for a leader who is excited to "walk the walk," actively experimenting with AI and leading by example to define what an AI-native product practice looks like at Trimble.

As a leader on the Agentic AI Integration Team, you will be the crucial link between our central Agentic AI Platform Team and diverse Business Area/Product Teams. Your mission is to empower these teams to identify, validate, prioritize, and seamlessly implement domain-specific use cases for AI agents, fostering a culture of rapid experimentation and learning while remaining focused on delivering meaningful outcomes. You'll ensure our AI initiatives are not only technically feasible but also deeply aligned with user needs and critical business objectives.

  • AI Product Strategy & Vision: Champion a clear and compelling product vision and strategy for integrating Agentic AI technologies across Trimble's AECO and FS software solutions. Identify high-impact opportunities where AI can solve critical customer problems and unlock new sources of value and competitive advantage.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the primary liaison and collaborative partner for multiple Business Areas and Product Teams. Foster strong relationships and facilitate seamless communication to ensure successful AI integration projects.

  • Technology Evangelist & SME: Maintain a deep understanding of the rapidly evolving Agentic AI landscape, including LLMs, AI tools, frameworks (e.g., Langchain, Autogen), and communication protocols. Not only translate complex AI concepts into actionable insights, but also actively use and prototype with these technologies to guide internal teams on their potential and practical applications.

  • Customer-Centricity: Act as the unwavering voice of both internal and external customers. Conduct synthetic and real-world market research, customer interviews, and user testing to deeply understand user needs, pain points, and workflows within the AECO domain, translating insights into product direction.

  • Prioritization & Strategic Roadmap: Develop and manage a product roadmap for Agentic AI integrations. Guide business areas in prioritizing competing initiatives based on customer value, business impact, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment.

  • Project & Program Management: Employ strong agile and project management methodologies, embracing rapid prototyping and iterative development, to keep Agentic AI implementation efforts organized, transparent, and on track. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, managing dependencies across teams effectively.

  • Stakeholder Alignment: Communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including business leaders, design teams, engineering groups, and the Agentic AI Platform Team. Clearly articulate product strategy, project status, risks, and anticipated outcomes.

  • Deep Product Understanding: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Trimble's software products and solutions across the AECO and FS business segments, identifying key integration points and opportunities for AI.

  • Requirements Definition: Collaborate with teams to translate customer needs and business requirements into clear, concise, and actionable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering, often starting with prototypes over extensive documentation.

  • Go-to-Market Support: Collaborate with product marketing and sales teams to support the launch of new AI-powered features and solutions.

  • Champion AI-Native Practices: Lead by example in adopting AI tools and methodologies within your own product management workflows. Help define and promote best practices for AI-native product development across Trimble.

What You Should Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, User Experience, or a related field.

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on enterprise software, SaaS, or platform products. A proven track record of successfully launching and managing software products during the concept and growth stages of the product lifecycle.

  • Excellent project management skills, with experience leading complex, cross-functional projects in an agile environment, comfortable with ambiguity and iterative approaches.

  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proven ability to be the voice of the customer and advocate for user needs.

  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into customer-centric solutions and compelling value propositions.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, embrace new technologies, and lead change (internal and external) by inspiring others.

  • Strong foundational understanding and practical experience with Agentic AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered tools, agentic frameworks (e.g., n8n, LangChain, AutoGen), and relevant communication protocols. Direct experience building with, or heavily utilizing, AI/ML in product development is highly desirable.

  • A proactive, self-starter mentality with a strong sense of ownership, a passion for innovation, and an eagerness to engage in hands-on experimentation.

About Your Location

This role must be located in a time zone with significant overlaps with the targeted business areas of Trimble.  That means in North America or Western Europe.  Ideally, the candidate would be near a Trimble office and work on a hybrid schedule.

As this is a leadership role that will entail close collaboration with business units and product teams across the whole of Trimble’s solutions, travel to meet in person will likely be several times per quarter.

About the Agentic AI Team

The Agentic AI Team is a new team. This leadership role will have a significant influence on the organizational design of the team, working closely with Mike Tadros, Sr Director of Product for the Agentic AI Platform. The team is currently reporting through Trimble’s AECO segment, though we fully expect the Agentic AI Platform services will be leveraged to build AI-powered products across all three of Trimble’s segments. This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape how a global company leverages Agentic AI, defining new processes and embodying an AI-native culture.

Trimble’s Inclusiveness Commitment

We believe in celebrating our differences. That is why our diversity is our strength. To us, that means actively participating in opportunities to be inclusive. Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion have guided our current success while also moving our desire to improve. We actively seek to add members to our community who represent our customers and the places we live and work.

We have programs in place to make sure our people are seen, heard, and welcomed, and most importantly, that they know they belong, no matter who they are or where they are coming from.
