Overview
The Product Lead (Senior Product Manager) is responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Compassion’s emerging donor‑funded initiatives that support holistic child development through local church partners. Acting as the bridge between donor needs, organizational goals, and cross‑functional teams, this role guides the full lifecycle of these offerings—from concept to launch to ongoing refinement.
In this position, you will direct both marketing strategy and product development for innovative, comprehensive funding initiatives designed for major donors and churches capable of substantial multi‑year investments. Because these offerings are still maturing, the Product Lead must be a seasoned marketing and product leader who can deeply understand donor motivations, conduct market and stakeholder research, and collaborate across the organization—including major donor representatives, church teams, researchers, channel leaders, operations, finance, and program experts—to refine the product and strengthen its differentiation in the marketplace.
You will lead the creation of compelling messaging, naming, brand identity, and donor‑facing collateral, elevating awareness and engagement among major donors and global fundraising partners. In partnership with regional fundraising teams, you will equip representatives to communicate the value proposition and inspire donor participation.
The Product Lead also drives continuous improvement of the offering by gathering donor feedback and internal insights to refine the donor experience, product features, value proposition, and operational feasibility. You will define success metrics, analyze engagement and retention trends, and ensure the offering delivers meaningful impact for children and communities.
This role reports to the Director of Product Marketing and works closely with Global Fundraising, Compassion Ventures Group, and stakeholders across the organization to ensure the product delivers both donor value and programmatic effectiveness.
