Do you want to shape the future of automation of the Dynatrace platform for enterprise observability?Dynatrace, the industry's most powerful unified observability, security, and business analytics platform, is looking for a Senior Product Experience Designer to join our Platform Extensions team.
You'll have the exciting opportunity to:
  • Design intuitive experiences for complex automation and solutions, making custom offerings accessible to both technical and non-technical users across diverse enterprise environments
  • Own the end-to-end user experience for solution configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting interfaces
  • Collaborate closely with software engineers, platform architects, and product managers to translate complex automation and problem-solving concepts into elegant, user-friendly design solutions
  • Balance the technical complexity of advanced solutions with user needs, creating scalable design patterns that work across different applications, while setting UX standards for mission-critical automation systems

What will help you succeed:
  • You have at least 6 years of experience and a demonstrated track record of designing, shipping, and iterating digital software products and systems - not just websites or campaigns. Preferably you will have experience working on Enterprise Software as well.
  • Your strengths and interests lie in UX design, but also in the creation of beautiful interfaces. You have a good eye for visual and communications design and mastering low and high-fidelity prototypes is easy for you.
  • You integrate user experience and design work on the product in agile working models and work closely with development where ideation, future vision, detailed improvements, and emerging tasks often happen at the same time.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills, to help people understand the rationale behind design proposals and the complex nuances of design problems.
  • You are passionate about building, prototyping, and continually evolving digital products throughout the product life cycle while engaging in user testing sessions for your designs and synthesizing feedback to actionable changes.
  • You are an excellent collaborator - adapting to feedback from both users and internal stakeholders and building stronger products as a result.
  • You should be able to prototype dev-ready interactions and interfaces inside of Figma
  • You keep accessibility top of mind for all your designs and can find ways to make beautiful experiences being usable by everyone.

When applying, please provide a link to an online portfolio showing only 1 or 2 complex projects.
  • If possible please showcase the outcomes and explore the challenges or business needs addressed.
  • Describe your role and responsibilities in those projects, emphasizing the strategies and processes used to develop solutions and navigate complexities.
  • We're interested in your experience with digital software products and systems at the enterprise level, including B2B, SaaS, and desktop software projects.
