Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Product Director to lead our Talent Acquisition Automation and Intelligence team. In this leadership role, you will be at the forefront of transforming the candidate, recruiter, and hiring manager experiences by driving the development and delivery of next-generation, AI-driven solutions. Your leadership will be instrumental in crafting and executing a strategic vision that aligns with our organizational goals and market trends, ensuring the creation of innovative, scalable, and integrated solutions across our Talent Acquisition Platform.
As the Product Director, you will lead a team of product managers, guiding them to identify opportunities for process simplification and technological innovation. Your role will involve translating complex business needs into elegant product strategies and roadmaps that enhance the talent acquisition lifecycle. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, UX, and HR, to reimagine the operating model for modern hiring and drive the successful delivery of cutting-edge, AI-driven solutions that exceed customer expectations and deliver measurable business value at scale. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and excellence within the team.
Job responsibilities
  • Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for workflow automation and AI/ML intelligence across the hiring ecosystem, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market trends.
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, while providing strategic direction and career development support.
  • Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery to delivery, ensuring the creation of scalable, integrated solutions that enhance recruiter workflows and streamline operations.
  • Drive alignment across Engineering, Data Science, UX, Risk, Legal, and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to prioritize and deliver high-impact product releases.
  • Champion AI and ML-powered solutions to optimize recruiter productivity, reduce manual work, and enhance candidate experience through intelligent recommendations and predictive insights.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, inform strategic decision-making, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary product representative to executive stakeholders, clearly communicating progress, trade-offs, and wins, while advocating for ethical AI and inclusive hiring practices.
  • Guide system design and ensure platform scalability, security, and API extensibility, enabling seamless integration with third-party tools.
  • Industry Insight: Stay current with industry trends in AI, automation, recruiting tech, and enterprise HR platforms to inform strategy and drive innovation.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 8+ years in product management, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role, with a focus on talent acquisition, HR technology, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex enterprise or platform products, ideally within HR tech, recruiting systems, or workflow automation platforms.
  • Strong ability to build, coach, and manage high-performing product teams in fast-paced, matrixed environments, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • Deep expertise in designing and launching intelligent automation solutions using AI/ML, RPA, or decisioning engines, with a strong understanding of enterprise software development lifecycles.
  • Strong grasp of product development strategy, discovery frameworks, prioritization techniques, and outcome measurement, with the ability to drive execution across distributed teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience managing expectations across multiple levels, including VP and C-suite audiences.
  • Skilled in agile development practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent, with the ability to drive alignment across product, engineering, and design.
  • Understanding of data platforms, APIs, and integration approaches for scalable and interoperable systems, with demonstrated success in platform thinking and building reusable components.
  • Deep analytical skills with a strong grasp of KPIs, instrumentation, experimentation, and insight generation, using a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with enterprise cloud platforms and technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.) with a solid technical foundation in APIs, data flows, and ML/AI concepts.
  • Background in Talent Acquisition systems (e.g., ATS, CRM, scheduling, onboarding) or enterprise HR platforms; and exposure to global hiring workflows, localization, and compliance in highly regulated environments.
  • Background in designing and optimizing end-to-end candidate and recruiter experiences.
  • Excels in metrics and reporting to track progress, surface insights, and inform decisions.
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
  • Strong understanding and experience with building data infrastructures and data pipelines, especially to power the scalability of AI.
  • SQL and/or Python skills preferred; Advanced Analytics skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of enterprise data privacy, compliance, and regulatory considerations.
  • MBA, MS in Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields.
