  • Solution Generation: Developing a wide range of potential solutions to address a given customer or business problem.
  • Interaction and Visual Design: Elevating promising solutions by refining them into their most intuitive, elegant, and user-friendly form. This involves balancing simplicity with functionality, ensuring the final design not only meets customer needs but also aligns with the highest standards of aesthetic and interaction quality.
  • Collaboration: Building strong partnerships with Product Management and Engineering teams to align on the most valuable and feasible ideas. This includes facilitating open communication, integrating many perspectives, and co-creating solutions that maximize impact while staying within technical and timeline constraints.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in UX-related roles.
  • Exceptional craft and attention to detail in visual design, interaction design, and prototyping.
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools to showcase complex features and web flows.
  • Proven track record of launching and iterating on products with a focus on business and customer impact.
  • Strong customer obsession with extensive experience leveraging UX research for foundational insights and iterative design.
  • Excellent collaboration skills with cross-functional partners, including designers, researchers, PMs, data scientists, and engineers.
  • Experience spanning the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and iteration.
  • Expertise in designing for mature products, balancing incremental improvements, visionary goals, and step-change enhancements.
  • Ability to measure impact through both quantitative metrics and qualitative insights.
  • Ownership mindset with a proactive approach to driving projects and teams forward.
  • Deep expertise in using and contributing to design systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing for a specialized customer audience in an SaaS environment
  • Examples of redesigning large portions of mature products in a large, matrixed team
