THE CHALLENGE

Eventbrite is a global self-service ticketing and experience technology platform connecting millions of attendees with event creators around the world. Our mission is to create and inspire meaningful connections by enabling creators to host events that bring people together. We’re committed to fostering an innovative, inclusive culture that empowers our teams to make a lasting impact.
As Eventbrite evolves, we are committed to creating seamless, world-class experiences for the millions of consumers who discover and attend events on our platform. We want to ensure that every touchpoint across mobile, web, and app environments is intuitive, delightful, and inspiring — shaping how people find and experience live events.

THE ROLE

We are looking for a Staff Product Designer (located in EST) to shape the future of Eventbrite’s consumer experience pillar. This role will be responsible for driving design excellence on the technical side of the craft — ensuring our consumer-facing experiences are usable, scalable, and of the highest quality. You will collaborate with design leadership, cross-functional partners, and engineers to deliver outstanding product experiences across our marketplace, discovery flows, and attendee touchpoints.

YOU WILL

Leadership & Vision

  • Partner closely with the design leader to co-create the vision and strategy for consumer design, focusing on technical depth and craft execution.
  • Act as a thought partner to product and engineering, influencing roadmaps and priorities.
  • Serve as a mentor and role model, raising the bar for craft quality and helping other designers grow.

Product & Design Craft

  • Deliver high-quality, user-centered design solutions across mobile, web, and app environments.
  • Translate insights and data into elegant and impactful product experiences.
  • Drive design excellence by championing best practices in interaction design, accessibility, usability, and visual design.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with product managers, engineers, researchers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to shape holistic strategies.
  • Communicate design decisions with clarity and influence across different levels of the organization.
  • Ensure that consumer experiences reflect both user delight and Eventbrite’s marketplace ambitions.

Creative and Technical Guidance

  • Push the boundaries of interaction design, ensuring solutions are innovative, accessible, and scalable.
  • Lead by example in areas like responsive frameworks, design systems application, prototyping, and motion/interaction patterns.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to bridge design and implementation, ensuring pixel-perfect and technically feasible outcomes.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, and performance as core pillars of every consumer experience.
  • Stay ahead of emerging tools, technologies, and design practices, bringing forward ideas that advance the craft and elevate the team.
THE SKILLSET
  • 8+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products, ideally in B2C or marketplace contexts.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates excellence in interaction and visual design, along with strategic problem-solving.
  • Proven ability to lead large-scale initiatives, from discovery and definition through execution and iteration.
  • Experience working autonomously while providing leadership and guidance to peers.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and setting direction in complex product areas.
