Job Brief:
We’re looking for a curious and motivated Product Analytics Intern to join the Product team at Wahed. You’ll dive into data to uncover insights that inform key product decisions, create dashboards that tell stories, and work with different teams to improve the user experience. If you enjoy solving real-world problems with SQL and care about making Halal investing more accessible, this role is for you.
Job Description:
- Write and run SQL queries to explore core metrics (onboarding, KYC, funding, etc.)
- Document and review of our current data systems
- Build dashboards and visualizations that surface meaningful trends
- Spot bottlenecks and drop-offs in the user journey
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to support smarter decisions
- Help with A/B testing and experimentation (when applicable)
Job Specification:
- Working knowledge of SQL (you’ll write queries during the interview)
- Comfortable interpreting data visualizations
- Clear communicator, especially when explaining data to non-technical folks
- Interest in fintech and/or product analytics
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks
- Experience with tools like Mixpanel or Metabase
- Previous internships or projects in fintech or tech products
- Familiarity with concepts like funnels, LTV, or cohort analysis
- End-to-end exposure to product analytics at a growing fintech startup
- How product, marketing, and ops teams make decisions using data
- Hands-on experience writing SQL and building dashboards for real users
- How to collaborate across teams in a fast-paced environment
