Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Product Solutions Analyst to join our Product Solutions team. This team has a variety of responsibilities ranging from forms and filings development to technical solutions across all products. This role will be focused on technical solutions where you will work closely with peer Product Management colleagues as well as key partners in Technology to bring new products to market quickly and implement enhancements. You will be part of a team that works on all products and markets at MSI!
Key Responsibilities:
- Support technical product development across a variety of products by collaborating closely with the Product Management and Technology teams
- Develop, maintain, and improve the tools that are used to define and configure product rates, rules, and forms in our proprietary policy administration system
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives and product rollouts, and support testing strategies
- Translate business objectives into technical implementations while helping develop requirements for system enhancements and identifying defects
- Contribute to and help scale processes, tools, and best practices that improve execution quality and velocity
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders across Product Management, Business, Underwriting, and Technology to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Minimum 3 years of experience
- Experience with technical system support for insurance products
- Knowledge of P&C insurance product management
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word; Working knowledge of SQL, Python, and/or R
- Well organized with a strong attention to detail
- Desire to solve problems, think analytically and make things better
- Self-motivated with a can-do attitude while working as a team player to deliver results
