About the role

Prime Data Centers is looking for a Procurement Data Analyst to help build the analytics foundation that powers one of the fastest-growing data center procurement organizations in North America. This is an early-career role with meaningful ownership from day one — you won't be pulling static reports for someone else; you'll be building the tools, dashboards, and data pipelines that the whole procurement team relies on.

You'll work closely with our Manager of Procurement Data & Analytics and our external data strategy partner (Aimpoint Digital), contributing to real deliverables across Snowflake, Sigma, and our core enterprise platforms. If you're a sharp analyst who wants to grow alongside a function being built from scratch, this is the role for you.

What you'll do

Reporting & Dashboard Development

• Build and maintain procurement dashboards and reports in Sigma, covering spend analytics, supplier performance, procurement KPIs, and category-level trends.
• Support the ongoing development and refinement of OFCI tracking workflows in Sigma — improving forecast visibility, milestone tracking, and exception flagging for the procurement team.
• Respond to ad hoc data and reporting requests from category managers, regional procurement managers, and leadership, turning questions into clean, repeatable analyses.

Data Management & Quality

• Support data pipeline maintenance and quality monitoring across Snowflake, ensuring procurement data flowing from NetSuite, Procore, and other platforms is accurate and up to date.
• Help maintain data dictionaries, field-level documentation, and source-of-truth references that keep procurement reporting consistent and auditable.
• Identify and flag data quality issues; work with platform owners and the broader data team to resolve discrepancies at the source.

Analytics & Insights

• Develop supplier performance and risk analytics that support category managers in identifying underperforming suppliers, concentration risk, and escalation triggers.
• Contribute to spend analytics work — helping the team understand where Prime's procurement dollars are going, how they're trending, and where opportunities exist.
• Assist in building models and analyses that support sourcing decisions, contract negotiations, and supplier reviews.

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Help identify opportunities to reduce manual data work across the procurement team — building automations, lookup tools, and self-service solutions that free up capacity.
• Partner with the Procurement Transformation & Governance function to ensure reporting outputs align with evolving process standards and system configurations.

• Analytically Sharp: You're comfortable working with messy, real-world data and turning it into something clean and useful. You know your way around SQL and a BI tool, and you enjoy the process of making data make sense.
• Curious Builder: You don't wait to be handed a finished spec. You explore, ask questions, and build things that work — even when the requirements are still evolving.
• Clear Communicator: You can explain what a dashboard shows, what it doesn't show, and why it matters — in plain language, to people who don't spend their days in data tools.
• Growth Oriented: You're early in your career but serious about developing deep expertise. You see this role as a foundation, not a stepping stone.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or a related function — internships and co-ops included for strong candidates.
• Proficiency in SQL; ability to write and troubleshoot queries against relational or cloud data warehouses.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards or reports in Sigma, Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or a comparable BI platform.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake preferred) and basic data pipeline concepts.
• Exposure to ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP) or project management platforms (Procore, Smartsheet) is a plus — not a requirement.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
