We are looking for a Process Technician to join our Manufacturing team! 

What you’ll do:

You will contribute towards the engineering tasks relating to manufacturing and development of established and new processes. The role requirements include wearing a full cleanroom suit, with an expectation that the majority of the work day will take place within the cleanroom.

  • Support and maintain production

  • Contribute towards engineering tasks associated with continuous process development and optimization.

  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements in order to increase efficiency, yield and reduce operating costs. 

  • Assist in the development of new processes and technologies to achieve rapid introduction with stable yield

  • Ensure engineering principles and procedures are adhered to by staff working within the fabrication and test areas.

  • Respond to out of control events and assist in their disposition.

  • Process engineering representative for all processing areas during out of day shift hours.

  • On-shift containment, investigation, diagnosis & resolution of process and test issues.

  • Provide feedback & communication using recognized reporting systems and techniques to ensure continuity in addressing issues across manufacturing hours.

  • Liaise with shift supervisor & fellow technicians to ensure production priorities are understood and addressed with appropriate urgency.

  • Monitor, update and present information regarding the status of production processes.

  • Contribute towards training of Operators and fellow technicians.

  • Develop a positive safety and environmental culture to satisfy ISO 18001 and ISO 140001 requirements.

  • Identify process engineering problems, apply necessary knowledge and techniques, and escalate issues in a timely manner.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Experience working in cleanrooms and in a manufacturing / production environment.

  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing and engineering principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving ability. 

  • Good understanding of statistical process control techniques.

  • Capable of analyzing data.  May predict trends and recommend adjustments.

  • Knowledge of scientific experimentation techniques.

  • Proactive and capable of working without direct supervision. Can effectively prioritize time and identify and focus on priority issues.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience as a process technician in a similar fabrication environment

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base hourly range for this position is $42.78-$63.94 hourly.


 

Zone B:

The base hourly range for this position is $40.86-$60.57 hourly.

Zone C:

The base hourly range for this position is $36.53-$54.32 hourly.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
