Thermo Fisher Scientific seeks outstanding individuals for a Process Sales Representative role to support our mission.
What will you do?
Identify, interpret, and respond to customer requirements, aligning these needs with our division’s capabilities and market trends.
Schedule and conduct product demonstrations, showcasing our products and hands-on presentations.
Provide technical assistance, consultation, and problem-solving support to customers.
Estimate delivery dates based on manufacturing production and delivery schedules.
Attain or surpass sales goals, reaching booking and revenue targets that are in line with the unit's objectives.
Build and implement strategic and tactical plans aligned with divisional, regional, and area goals.
Inform management and the broader organization about forecasted bookings and revenue figures to ensure transparency and timely delivery of products and services.
Improve sales pipeline and forecast management processes using sales tools like Salesforce and automated incentive tracking.
Serve as an information channel to the division on market conditions, competition, and customer insights.
Work together with business unit product management teams to provide suggestions informed by marketing and new product strategies.
Champion trust and positive relationships with customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOL).
Understand customer technology roadmaps and challenges, identifying solutions and demonstrating the value proposition of our portfolio. Share insights with Product and Business Development Management.
How will you get here?
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Chemistry/Physical Sciences
Experience & Skills
5+ years of meaningful experience; or an Advanced Degree in Engineering, Chemistry/Physical Sciences.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions from market trends and unit analysis.
Skilled business insight and operational perfection
Proven sales achievements in scientific instrumentation.
Knowledge of Polymer Extrusion instrumentation products.
Understanding of the professional selling process of capital equipment.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New Mexico is $72,000.00–$107,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
